Rapid share SUCKS! I started the download and accidentally closed the browser window. Now it tells me I have exceeded my download limit. I really can't see paying for a service that I can set up on my own webserver. As a matter of fact, gimme a few and I'm gonna see about doing just that - creating my own.

The free download stuff usually sucks, but at least it's free. I don't think I would want to pay for the potential bandwidth that can the forum might do

I pay for it and always get at least 2 Mbs -much faster than what I was used to.

I'll keep those files on my account for long time, so you guys can download a piece today and another when you have a chance - No rush

I discovered that it allows non registered users download one of the files every 15 minutes at a download speed of 108kps.

See, I know there was a benefit in keeping a small network going at home ... I just continue the downloading form another PC (or in my case, Mac).

You can't put them in a cue, though. You have to download one of them; when it's done, wait between 12 and 15 minutes; download another one; repeat. I tried to set it up to d/l them back to back - didn't work.

And I know exactly what you mean about the home network. My house net currently consists of 3 desktop pcs, 3 laptops and a netbook. And I have two wireless network printers (one for photos). There are only 4 people living here, so we're covered.
