kart45 6 Posted May 28, 2009 Hey guys, me again Just got a request for some signwork and need some vectorizing help. My un-educated guess tells me that this being one color on white background should make for a quicker conversion... but that's just my un-educated guess speaking (I am hoping to pick up a laptop tonight to designate as the vinyl machine, that will be getting all the imaging, vectorizing, & cutting programs, etc... whereas now I'm sharing a laptop w/ my wife I'm tryin to get this figured out! ) Oh and btw I'm working with SBE for now... hoping to upgrade to a slightly more capable cutting program... any suggestions ;D River_City_green_pdf.pdf River_City_green_pdf.pdf

bayshorecreations 30 Posted May 29, 2009 I opened the PDF file in Photoshop, saved it to a jpg, opened the jpg up in Illustrator and did a live trace of it.
pogo 0 Posted May 29, 2009 Here's the actual vector from the pdf. It's much cleaner than the trace. bayshorecreations You can open the pdf directly in illustrator and skip converting to a jpg and then tracing.
