Rodger 527 Posted August 22, 2007 i'm as far from a pro as possible , but applying to a painted wall isnt a problem , taking off is . try applying dry in a place that would not matter , if that doesnt work , use a little water & go slow . Rodger
autazell 0 Posted August 28, 2007 I've heard that if you warm up the vinyl with a hair dryer it makes it easier to remove. I haven?t tried it yet, so I would recommend trying it on a small area first. You can also get low tack vinyl.
Jason50 1 Posted August 29, 2007 being a novice you probably do not want the low down on all the paints and primers one could apply to the wall to keep it looking great for the long hall... so the best info i can give is to lay the vinyl onto the wall like normal, but only apply pressure where pressure is needed... JUST APPLY PRESSURE WHERE THE VINYL IS. i would stay clear of any type of wet install as it would most likely damage the ???drywall??? included is a wall i done about 4 years ago and it still looks great using the above mentioned tips. good luck.http://users.multipro.com/signs/new_pa3.jpg also district is spelled wrong in the pic hehehhe
