refire 721 display goes out

Well I really cant complain, I love this cutter, but sometimes If I send it off on a job the display goes out... not the light, just the display. Really weird. its still does the job I told it to do, just the display goes out. After the job is done I hit reset and its fine...

any thoughts?

Loose cable to the LCD from the motherboard, or a little slice in the cable.
