What does baud and e-speed mean ?

Hi was wondering what does baud and e-speed mean and what is a good setting for that ? I am just cutting plain ol vinyl.

Also I am having a problem when its cutting the vinyl is peeling up from the blade and in certain areas like an S or something it'll lift a little on the corner. Can someone help please.

Sorry I have a 12" us cutter plotter and when I go into settings those settings are there this is actually on the machine .........

Baud rate is the data transfer rate...

Not sure what the eSpeed or eVale mean...
