Need some help doing shadows

I am trying to make a shadow but i am not exactly sure how to do so. I think i know how to do the shadow i just dont know how to sepertate the original image from the shadow so that it will cut out.

make the shawdow a different color & when you send the design to the cutter , there is a box on the upper left that has the colors . Cut 1 at a time . Some shawdows can use reg marks .

Select you're image/text

manipulate

shadows

you can right click for shadow options

then select

that will show the shadow

make your registration marks in a third color

then cut  

on the cut screen the colors will be seperated

select the different colors by holding ctrl key & click on colors you want to cut

You don't need to use control key unless you want to cut 2 or more colors at the same time . otherwise just click what color you want to cut

i will attatch what i need but i cant figure out how to make the shadow just on the back and the bottom of the numbers.
