shovelhead 0 Posted August 6, 2007 I am an air brush artist ,and mainly stay in the hard surface art work ,like bike tins and such. I bought a new 25" plotter ,and am needing help on what type of vinyl that would be good for my application. Most of my stuff will be no larger than a tank or fender off of a motorcycle. I am wondering if iI will have the capability to use this plotter to do images I have on file already ,and how I seperate different pieces ,for different stages of the artwork. Any help would be appreciate ed.Peace!
Guest fivestar Posted August 7, 2007 If your files are in vector format such as .eps or .ai then yes your plotter will be able to cut em as long as they are solid colors. Also if I was you putting them on motorcycle tanks and fenders I would suggest using cast vinyl as opposed to calendared vinyl.
