randyb 1 Posted January 27, 2009 I know this has been talked about before but am i correct in thinking that the less force used,it is better for your cutter?If mine is cutting fine at 80. Should i leave it alone???I also slowed it down to 12-16 and it seems to cut the smaller stuff smoother... Do you use more force for thicker stuff like holographic?? kenimes 42 Posted January 28, 2009 Yes, 80 is fine. I usually recommend a pressure setting of 50-100 for vinyl, so you are good there. More pressure may be needed for thicker vinyl, such as reflective or heat press transfer vinyl. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
