Uncle Remus 0 Posted January 27, 2009 I assume fatheads are printed on a large scale printer & then contour cut, Does anyone know what type of vinyl they use?
dustinjtrr 0 Posted January 28, 2009 I don't know for sure but fellers sells a product called jarhead vinyl. the picture in their catalog shows something that looks one of the fatheads. it says "up to 10 year indoor durability." orcal orajet series 3268 would be a printable wall vinyl as well, but is designed for short term use. they also have the 3628 which is a little more durable. avery has mpi 2601 wall film. 3 year indoor. the jarhead stuff seems to last the longest. Muttley 0 Posted January 29, 2009 Hey Uncle, Go check these guys out.... http://www.phototexgroup.com/ I don't remember how I found them, but they sent me a free roll of media. I believe this media is very similar to, or a direct copy of the Fathead vinyl. So far so good, I think it will be a good choice for temporary wall art, especially for kid
