dgreenh 9 Posted June 27, 2007 If I have a large graphic that has to be tiled into two sections, is there a way to recut the second tile without cutting them both? Also, does anyone have any words of wisdom about getting the tiles to line up properly when applying them? It seems to be harder than is should be.
TaterNuts 3 Posted June 27, 2007 Wisdom... Hmmm, My old lady says i dont have that... But what i have is experience... LOL Registration marks, and overlap... I dont know how to do it in sign cut, but if you over lap them a bit, and put some registration marks in, shouldnt be an issue... i just never did it in sign cut. dgreenh 9 Posted June 27, 2007 My wife calls me wise but it seems like there is another word that I can't seem to recall right now that she adds after that. I figured out how to cut only 1 tile in a 2 tile set in SignCut. Didn't take much reading to figure it out. On screen you see both tiles. You select the Tiling Tools (The arrow on the sidebar) Click on the Red X at the bottom of the screen Click on the tile that you don't want to cut and it will put a red X across the tile box. Then select cut and it will only cut the tile that isn't X'ed out.
