Cutting 22" wide on a 24" roll? (new Graphtec user)
Dorese posted a topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Discussion
I just upgraded from a USCutter SC 48" cutter to a Graphtec CE6000-120 (also 48"), and am hoping someone can help me figure out how to cut up to 22" wide on a 24" roll of vinyl. The way the rollers are laid out, I can't cut that wide, and I've got orders stacking up. I REALLY don't want to use wider vinyl - I know there has to be a way to do this. Thanks for your help! -
Hello all, Even though my screen name is Patty'sGraphix my name is Mark. We named the business after my wife. Well I got my new cutter yesterday and cannot wait to hit the ground running. However my machine came with zero instructions. We did get the base all setup, and the cutter is bolted to the base. (helps to be a mechanic) Now for the problem, I turn the cutter on and a loud buzzing noise is coming from the cutter. I believe this is due to the cutter head being parked but I have no instructions on how to unpark it. It is a series sc cutter. Any and all help would be appreciated. After a week or so when I am done setting up my website I would be more than glad to help people with thiers. As we got into this as a hobby / business because I am disabled with no use of my legs. So I will have plenty of time to give back to the community. Thank you uscutter for this community and allowing people to start lucritive businesses on short budgets. Mark
