    Help Please….

I am trying to get the checkers and all other objects out of the name. Any way to do this? Is it called something in SCALP? What I am doing is a two layer graphic. Red will be in the background and black as the top layer. That way the letters show red for the name. Thanks
  2. I’ve looked up videos and I try and try to get application tape to lay flat and it always seems to be an issue. I am using RTape High Tack clear trasfer tape on 651 vinyl. What are your steps in applying to a larger graphic (38”)? I start in the center then roll it down and always seem to get bubbles. Any videos that I am unaware of for a good example of doing it? Thanks

    Help applying application tape please….

Well, well, well….. I finally got it. My issue was I was trying to get the vinyl to adhere to the app tape right away. I learned that a light pressure on the tape first to get all the major bubbles out. Then I worked in a circle applying significant pressure. Wow! That was simple. Thanks again for all the help!

    Application Bubbles

I started with the top layer which is red, then applied the top layer (red) to the middle layer (black), then red and black to the bottom layer (red). I did not peel the backing from the (red) bottom layer. It only appears that the middle and top layer have the bubbles. Thanks

    Clear Transfer Tape

Hello Everyone, I am currently doing some layered graphics. It’ll be 4 total layers with Oracal 651. What’s a perfect clear tape to get the job done right? I should add that it’s a larger project. When I try to add a layer to the first layer my tape won’t peel off it’s way to high tack. Thanks

    Clear Transfer Tape

So my first layer is red, the second layer being black. When applying the black to the red, the transfer tape will not peel off of my two layers to start the third layer . Does this help? Sorry I am new at this.

    MH 871

Hello Friends, I've got an issue that I am trying to resolve. I am using the USCutter MH871 cutter with USCutter 60 degree blades and the UCutter blade holder as well. My issues I am having is the letters in the middle are being picked up by the blade and it will not cut a full perfect circle so my lines are off. I've also got squiggly lines as you can see in the picture. Any suggestions? I am using Oracal 651 vinyl. You can see in the picture to exactly what the issue is. I can cut one decal perfectly but when I switch to a different decal its all goofed. What force/speed do I need to cut at? I don't know.... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Attached is my better of the ones I have cut and did test runs on this morning. Its pretty decent for me so to speak. You can see in the decal where the 2 props on the left are thinner that the 3 props on the right. Also, some of the cuts are slightly rounded but really not too bad. Its going on a model airplane so being perfect isn't a must but I will try and learn to make cleaner things down the road.

Thanks guys! Very helpful. I will give some things a try today. I didn’t expect it be perfect being a value cutter but I think I can get some nice work out of it. Thanks again. Shane

Ok so I got the speed set to 24 and the force to 120. The blade adjustment is now way better. I still have slight jagged lines but barely noticeable. Also I have roller marks in the vinyl so an adjustment is definitely needed there. Thanks

Ok I will give that a try. Thank you. Some of this issue to is if I cut a square, the corners are not at 90 degrees. Sometimes it will complete 3 of the corners but the other will be way off. Thanks Shane
