    tracking has become AWFUL

Fill out a service ticket order and hopefully you wont have to wait over a weekl like I did. (and still no resolution) I have had a problem with the pinch roller since I got my machine this summer, it was missing one of the springs on the pinch roller, I went to us cutter woodenville WA. 3 times, the first time the us cutter man said to come that day and get a spring (he said he will take it off an old roller assembly), I went and he was gone before closing, no one could help me, I showed them my service ticket and an e mail from the Man. I went back the second time and no one could figure out the advanced procedure for removing a spring from a used pinch roller assembly. I made contact on the phone and conveyed my problem with them, they advised me in an e mail to simply bring in the pinch roller assembly and they would give me a new one. I did not read the part of the e mail that said to bring the pinch roller and went for my third trip, when I arived they told me I did not bring my roller assembly and could not help me. I explained that this was my third trip, evedently this an extra-advanced procedure to remove the spring and again I went home empty handed. Fast forward to a week ago Friday, I filled out a service ticked and stated I am having a problem with my machine tracking and wrote I want to bring the machine and leave it with them to make sure it works, they e mailed me back after a few days and said the machine wont track past 6', I replied I could not get it track past 5' and reminded them I want to take my machine to them, I have not heard back and have not been allowed to take them my POS.

Signcut Registration Code left blank in email??

That happened to me, Advise, when you talk to someone @ US Cutter try to talk to that same person the next time, Most people who work there seem to be overworked.

    Serial Port

Thank-U, that makes sense, the printer to USB port on my cutter is loose, it does not take much to jar it.

    Serial Port

Hi, great points, do you think the problem with the USB is @ the cutter end or the PC/Laptop end? I have been lucky so far to run my US Cutter Via printer to USB cable, I am trying to set up an old Roland color cam PC-50 to my laptop that does not have serial or parallel ports, the Roland has the old serial and parallel ports, I have located and purchased both serial and parallel to USB cables, which on would you use? the serial or parallel cable?

  21. Hello, I have an old (9years) Co-Cut Pro program on CD rom, the sign shop that sold it to me did not give me the right dongle. I bought it with a Roland Color Cam PC-50, they also gave me a cd rom copy of corel draw (SP?) that did not work. Now I have purchased a US Cutter with all of the software that it came with, sign blazer lifetime and sign cut pro 1 year, and downloades inkscape. What I want to do is finally get my Roland working, I recently purchased a Parallel port to USB, and 25 pin serial to USB cable that will work for my Roland to my laptop. ............If you are still reading, LOL what software would you use with these two machines? Co-Cut and inkscape? (no dongle) I also have the folder it came with and the serial number. Sign Blazer and inkscape? (lifetime) Sign Cut Pro and inkscape (1 yr.) Thank-U,Thank-U, Thank-U in advance. greg
