ok im a " do it at home on my tiny cutter for fun guy" but one saying people like me are crap quality ( or can be ) is a little bit insulting as that could be said for someone with the worlds biggest supply of cutters doing it as a full time job and their quality could be piss poor but they get jobs on price rather than quality. most of what I do is just stuff for a mate with a comic store that I get 50% of what he sells them for it just covers my costs and that's all ( materials only ) biggest order I had was a mate wanted 150 decals single colour but 3 different ones 2"x6" I charged him $130 inc postage they took me about 3 midweek days after work and I did make a little for my time he had the design he wanted I had to tweek it due to stupidly thin lines but I sent him 3 pictures as well as the 3 decals of said pictures for him to physically hold before doing the run ... if 150 can be called a run he picked one and I cut them ............... would I love a 100,000 decal order HELL YES as I could buy bigger and better equipment and as such do bigger decals would it take awhile ...yes for something that big though I would a) follow the above steps in regards to samples, confirmation of design etc upon agreement of amount and price get a deposit that covers the full cost of materials that way if they back out your not out of pocket if they don't want to don't take the order unless you can in someway use said materials End of the day if you think you can do it DO IT

Hello i have a silhouette and SCAL and use .svg files to cut stuff ive converted ( using vector magic site as i cant afford to buy the desktop version yet... anyway... ) whats an .eps file ? just a different format for different machines ? or a better format to use in general ? Cheers David

Question I don't have a sand blaster etc so am thinking of trying to etch glass another way someone said there is a paste or something that's used with the vinyl as a stencil anyone have any experience with this ease of use etc etc Cheers David C

I have a old stainless cabinet from a fast food place the wife acquired that sitting doing nowt I was thinking of making a stand/frame for it to sit on and replace the door with glass so I can see in and drill tool/arm holes in the sides......

Hello all Been playing about with a small 12 Silhouette machine for about 6 months and enjoying making my own decals looking to get a bigger machine ( probably the Laser point 2, 31.5" Any help / advice would be most welcome David, Hillsboro, MO

Grimey contact your local FedEx depot and tell them your making a complaint with the BBB about your driver that should get some results for some reason fedex seem to not move their drivers about like UPS does

if they leave stuff at odd locations etc have it delivered to your work address personally ive been nothing but impressed with both the cost and the speed of delivery order placed thursday morning shipped from tennessee arrived st louis friday David

Hello I have a cameo silhouette and so far have just been messing with single colour decals how hard is it to do the ones using more than one colour vinyl ? Any and all help and advice would be greatly appreciated Cheers David

I don't use the cameo software just scal and Inkscape for tweeking

what is used to etch the glass ?

budget is none existent atm lol trying to save for a bugger cutter by selling decals just had a order for 150 from a mate granted spent more than I took on getting supplies to replace vinyl and transfer paper but its still a first order so that's something im pleased about.. the Laserpoint 2 is something I can aim for the others are just too much monies for me to try and save David
