    i tried running it thru Find My Font. but image was to degraded so im hoping someone can shed some light? it was sent from a buddy that says its running paint and i tried searching but came up with nothing close.. Hope to get some ideas or help unless its modified.. Thanks in Advance Buddies

    well after getting into this around 5-6 months ago, i never thought that this would go so big like it has for me ..My plan was to just do  small things and do it when i wanted...Im still learning so much and still forgetting a lot as i go..but i had a chance to help out some local veterans on their 10 passenger bus.     The original plan they wanted was to strip off the old vinyl which had to be sanded trust me, tried every method of know remover and vinyl wheel and the old vinyl adhesive would not come off this thing ....Then they took the bus down for a quote for paint on the sides which ended up being over their allowed budget ,and they wanted the areas pre-sanded as well so try and save cost which back fired on them..so then i had to attempt my first partial wrap to cover up what was sanded to metal etc and go from there..I  removed all the decal they wanted and they purchased the Amvets logo from a site called InkedAce(which we will never use again.) It was the worst crap ive ever seen and put together in pieces to make a 20" logo as we needed.. they used partial vinyl with printed vinyl.And the printed vinyl was over another color( like Red Printed on Yellow) It was the worst ever and i do not recommend them..I now have a local guy that will do all my print work,But i wasnt the one who chose Inkedace in the first place,So the amvets learned a lesson...I had to cut the logo pieces and re build it on the vehicle,Poorly masked etc with clear tape...

     

    Anyway it was a chore with the vinyl sheets on the sides for me not ever doing it before or actually knowing how,but i got it done( with some bubble popping in the process) i did the largest side dry install and then the shorter side wet and the outcome was the same ,so i just did dry for the rest and then applied the rest of the decals,USA Fag and the POW flag(POW with mods added to clean it up). All said and done its finished and they love every part of the work i did and they are running it thru the parade this weekend ..I was nervous until it was done...So i hope everyone likes what they see.....post-88251-0-89862300-1429294380_thumb.j

    ya thats what im using lol . scalp 4. they just did 2 updates in the past week.. they have added alot more features tho.im liking it more and more except the lag of cutting .thought about looking for another program just not sure which one. i do most of my design in Ai cs6 but i like the shadow and oultine feature scalp 4 has.As i havent got myself to understand  how to do it in Ai yet. Im still learning it ..

    nice setup. Im running a laptop with quad core A8 with 16gb ram 1tb hard drive with a 3 tb external. i wanted to build a new desktop but i needed a portable pc more for my photography i do and then since i got into the vinyl world and it allows me to design up some quick views for a customer if they want to see something as a sample... Si im not sure why my cutter takes awhile sometimes to start cutting ,, if its my pc isnt fast enough (which i would be surprised if it isnt) i guess i could get a gamer system or something but i dont want to . i got this new laptop from a lady who just bought it and didnt like windows 8 so i ended up getting it from her for only $300 and being only a couple weeks old. i think i got a steal lol,,.Thanks Dakota.

    Titan 2---Is it a good idea to get a keyspan adapter for usb? im not sure what it actually does but i seen someone post about it once.. Im not having any crazy cut issues except that on some designs it takes awhile for the machine to finally start cutting etc,and i wasnt sure if a keyspan would make this work any faster.and does a keyspan have port that my existing usb plugs into or is it already built with one.Thanks in advance on your help with this question.

    Hey Skarekrow or anyone,, How would you use the difficulty scale for cost or whats the price range for each level or ballpark area to give me an idea.Plus do you guys charge like a number above what your cost is like if a decal comes out to be like (if this is correct on a guess) a 2"tx10L is like .20 cents do you add 25% or something that gives you a fair value to sale at? I know everyone charges differently but there has to be some sort of start number that gets you on your way..Thanks Sorry for all the questions.I just dont want to screw myself lol.

    Thnx guys. i got these awhile ago from here, and i wasnt sure if it would help or not for being a newbie, im just trying to make sure what i charge is more than what my costs are. so i was hoping these were gonna help.. my biggest concern was breakdown.i wish i knew more about Spreadsheets etc, and i wish there was a difficulty added as well.. Thanks for your info buds. ;D
