    I keep my vinyl stored under at least 80* ..Im sure there is a point to where vinyl will act strange when cutting and it looses it grip against the backing paper if it gets to warm, which i think would cause an issue. I have never heard of it happening tho.Just a guess, Do you have it just out in the open or stored in a cabinet ?  Mine is in a temp controlled room ,But i would make a  enclosed cabinet or try to store it inside where its cooler.I would hate to see you loose all your material.

    I believe the cutter knows that if it cuts and goes that speed it is preset for testing it will give a perfect cut,But thats only if blade depth is set correctly.  

    Try cutting a test Letter in the same font the cutter uses in the same size etc and see what it does..and try and match the speed.

    Perfectly said ....   And it also depends on what look your going after,I have seen some really thick stroke lines that really didnt look good and then some were just to small that they should of just left them out lol. Like Mark-S said there is no set rule .Just a matter of preference..

    are the 2 side by side images a copy of each other? or is the very top white one a different image than the ones below ,because like Mz Skeeter pointed out the lines in the mouth are different than the other ones, Looks like to 2 different  vector image files to me ..  Can you send me the file  of both white and black in a pm and ill see if i see anything that might be missed by chance? I did it a long time ago and didnt realize it,Thats why im asking ..

    I have that same image as well..

    Welcome from California.....Glad to see you came over Powerboss from the darkside lol. Great people here for sure as well as an easy website to navigate as well..

    I have never done those bottles before nor powder coated material. But i do use Oracal all the time.... I suggest rubbing alcohol ,but do a test spot first just to be safe ,I use alcohol for all my cleaning and i also use Rapid Prep as well... If there is a hint of any dust ,you will have problems.Even oil that may not visible will cause problems....  As for temp anything above 50* Fahrenheit will work. Its labeled as a min of 46 but i stay away from that low just in case.My preference is above 65 to 80. I will use a heatgun to get it warm ( Not Hot ) that way i know it will stick..Ive even done it in the rain, I just add heat and apply. Never had one fall of yet..

     

    Maybe someone who has done powder coating and vinyl will chime in..If i find anything out before hand i will let you know.,I will follow this post for my own reference as well..

    I have been using pcloud for sharing and sending files and storing a few things ,But since my last portable hd drive failure i seen that they offer a much wider offering. I just bought the 1 year plan for a 2 tb setup for $95 a year (7.99 monthly) or you can pay like 9.99 a month. I only needed about 200 gb but i couldnt pass up the price for the 2tb.. it works from your computer and your phone, easy to use.  you can check out the free 20gb as a normal user if you want to see how it works,No money required etc,Just make sure you dont get the crypto when you try the free account otherwise they will want money or end up being a trial... Just get the free version... I like it alot.  i get 2 TB of storage space and 2 TB of download link traffic per month .

    i will still use portable hard drives  just so i have them in hand,But the online cloud backup is nice also.

    @darcshadow  I do have one portable that goes with me  everywhere, but the one that failed sat in one place always and never was moved.And what do you mean external enclosure? I thought is was  a portable Hd is that ? lol. unless your talking about like a box enclosure with a couple hard drives in it Never heard of a raid drive setup. I have built a few computers etc but never to that extent of things. Just basic with crazy ram etc and a few hd's in it...

    So until i get my new hard drive etc .I found a cloud based site that i will store everything i need.. Right now im getting a 2tb storage for pc and mobile for 7.99 a month with no restrictions. I hope it was a good deal.I searched and read all the reviews on many sites and Pcloud has the best rating out of all of them...

    I like SCALPS but I dont use the same cutter as you so it could be something different...... But with  scalps 3 pro ,It used to happen to me once in awhile but i ended up upgrading to 4 pro and i havent had it happen for a long time.It could just be by luck or they improved 4pro with this issue.     I just looked and for just 4.0 they have an update .just have your program update it by clicking Help in the program and then update just in case you didnt know that.. ...........Not sure if you have checked out the 4 pro one .But you can download the demo and try it .I liked it more than 3 which is what i started with ..    Oh and if the program says you have the current one which actually is 4.063 , just download the program and it will overide the one you have already .. I figured out on my own..
