Before I went and created my own vector, I figured I'd check the group to see if anyone had anything related to flyboarding. It's where you stand on a water propelled platform and water jets lift you up in the lake or ocean. Thanks

Thanks, I will check it out. I appreciate it

So...the answer then, is a resounding no I suppose. I'll just create one...thx

I mean no disrespect but you're asking about a bulk discount to save a couple bucks on a large order but in reality you could cut that order in half (or more) and use that money for things that will yield a much bigger gain than having a color on hand would...like marketing yourself or getting your business set up with tax I'd etc I get the idea that you feel like you need to have every color available just in case but in reality you don't. Sell yourself, sell the job, collect the money up front, order the material you don't have on hand, make a customer happy. If you give your customers the impression you're 3-5 days out due to the workload I think that looks better than having no jobs in the pipe. Just my .02

Have a customer wanting a sign made for their business and I'm researching some substrate options. I don't have much info other than it's going to be outside. (Non lit more than likely) Anyone have any ideas for the materials and construction based on their personal experiences? (NNot just Google searching)

Call US Cutter, tell them what you want to do, and see if they're willing to work something out (if nothing else, free shipping maybe). Most they can do is say NO. Fellers does allow you to pick it up too - if there's one close, and you're not in need of THAT much vinyl, I'd suggest slimming that order down some. As mentioned, you'll not want it to sit around for long periods of time (or maybe look at 15 yard rolls or something)

Graphtec Studio - Contour Cutting - Need some help
Vermonster replied to Vermonster's topic in Other Software Programs
It may work (if using a white boarder) but if you want to overprint a black border and contour cut in the middle, you may have an issue. Graphtec guy knew nothing about the software so I'm on my own to figure it out. -
Graphtec Studio - Contour Cutting - Need some help
Vermonster replied to Vermonster's topic in Other Software Programs
Oddly enough, I called Graphtec and they were absolutely ZERO help. The guy kept telling me stuff that was 100% incorrect, then recanting. He resorted to reading me the manual - which didn't help solve the problem... WTF... Gotta say. I expected better Support from Graphtec. -
I guess I was thinking the plywood backing would offer some support (if mounted to 4x4's in the ground). Hey Bud - Not sure of the size just yet. Supposed to go over towards the end of the week (She's moving into the store now) so I wanted to give her some time before I asked her for money lol Where do you order them from?
-
Thanks for the suggestions! Have either of you used these? I'm guessing you could mount it to plywood and build a frame with 4x4 if they want it freestanding. Maybe mounted to 1/4" painted plywood and use lag bolts for a wall mount?

figured it out. Have to use Desktop Printer > Workforce 7010 when setting it up.. .Duh... I ran straight to "EPSON" in the list

I'm slowly trying to get my head around the print/cut after putting it down for a few weeks after the move. Now I'm trying to print/cut. I can do it ok with the Graphtec software but thought I'd try to figure out the Flexi print/cut and my WF7010 isn't listed under epson. Do I need to manually load drivers for flexi or something?

I love my toaster...so ya. Problem is...if you're not there when it happens a gun won't help. I still think the best offense is a good defense here. Signs, cameras, increases police patrols. You could even place a few lights on cheap timers to power on randomly

Do you have some "Smile you're on camera" or other decals similar at entry points? It would be a very low cost addition for you if they're not there already

someone mind explaining/showing how they have their feed set up? I used to use a pressure pot, and a big old cabinet. I'm interested in getting back into doing etching possibly if I can get around all that equipment. The air eraser (I've watched some videos) seem like a viable option, but not sure how you'd set up the feed for the sand. I know I'll have to build a box (or pick one up) but I'd like something smaller than my last one which was the big stand up one they sell. Thanks

Looks good. Mind sharing some info about the shirt? What material/printer etc? I have a printer sitting here (WF7050) and I've yet to really get it doing anything good for me.

I see one small issue with it. It's a Chevrolet Everything else looks great!

Nice Job! Interested more in that roller pro. I've not done rivets in years and I ended up drinking vodka (lots) last time I fooled with them

Hi Can anyone recommend someone for 18 x 24 sign blanks and stakes? We finally made it here to CT and are getting situated and I want to crank some vinyl jobs out. I've been searching but it's been years since I've bought these so would appreciate some member recommendations Thanks and Happy 4th to Everyone!
-
Was kind of my thought lol. It's nice to have blanks for a couple here & there. Hope the quality is there on them
-
Gotchya...thought you were randomly listing places lol I know fellers is around here too. I would love to find some place local
-
Thx. I will check them out again. I looked at that once but didn't see that they sold blanks...maybe I missed it
-
Lol... I know 200 places that sell them (from Googling it prior to posting this)...was just hoping to get "member recommendations" based on individual experiences. Maybe I was looking too far into it... Thanks.

You may want to scroll through your 'Add/remove programs" list chronologically and look for the one in there you don't recognize. Often you can pick these things up when you download and install something. When installing sometimes before it starts there is a screen with things p re-checked and people just hit OK without realizing If it's taking you to a specific page Google search "how to remove xyz"
