What did I do wrong here?

Anything I do for family I do not even try to charge because most likely whatever you charge will be to much to them.

So true handyman. I am currently working on my first job which is for a friend who just started a concrete business. Two trucks with 32"x22" vinyl on each door and four 2"x18" DOT #'s. I'm not asking for any money. Only asking him to spread the word if he likes my work. It's good practice for me and hey he does concrete and future trade outs are better than cash IMO. -
What would you guys do?

I would also replace it. Send detailed installation instructions and a reminder of your policies. Be polite and move on. Negative attention could far out weigh the replacement costs. -

Looking for something simple and ready to cut. I have tried to trace a few with poor results. The designs are too busy and end up blotchy. Thanks

Thanks but it is solid black when I open it in Graphtec Studio. It shows normal detail in the preview folder but all black when opened. I have had this issue with a few others as well. What causes it? Is there a remedy?

apron looks good GC! I get the " treat her good up front " and gain the return business down the road thing but don't sell yourself too short, too often. I trust you know what you are doing but the aprons are worth more. Glad you're seeing some action though!

LLC standards?
express2100 replied to express2100's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
Thanks! -
I am working on my first vinyl job for a concrete mason. I know the LLC should be in caps but shouldn't there be a comma and space before it? I say yes but some disagree. Also is it alright to have it quite a bit smaller than the business name?

How to Avoid Static Electricity Issues This Winter
express2100 replied to Vermonster's topic in Instructional Contributions
DONE.........Thank you! -
I am new to the vinyl world so I probably won't be much help. What I can tell you is that the guys/gals who can help you are going to need more information. Right now all we have is the window width and you need help with something. It looks like a nice clean slate to work with. Good luck!

Anyone willing to share some cute puppies? I have searched this forum and the share sites (dafont etc). I grabbed a few but just thought I'd see what you all might have. It's my nieces 3rd birthday tomorrow and she has pink and purple walls in her bedroom. I have white and black in 631 to work with. Thanks

Graphtec Studio - How to edit cut lines on text?
express2100 posted a topic in Other Software Programs
Ok bust me up if you want but I have been trying to do this for days now! I am using graphtec studio and snell roundhand text. I can not figure out how to edit the text so the cutter does't cut into the letters where they overlap. I have tried zooming in and erasing the lines, editing points, manually separating the letters etc with zero luck. I'm sure it is something simple but....... Any help would be greatly appreciated. -
Graphtec Studio - How to edit cut lines on text?
express2100 replied to express2100's topic in Other Software Programs
Thanks I got it now. I was selecting the area I wanted to edit and then clicking weld which of course didn't have much effect. Then I began to delete points which worked on the first letter and quickly went down hill. But I do have it now. Thanks for the lesson Mz SKEETER!! -
My wife wants me to make one of these for her. Can someone tell me what font this is? Thanks

Thanks mb20! I wish I had that one when I did the work but I grabbed it for future use. This is what we ended up with. The only wall we had to work with has suffered the wrath of crayons and nail polish Not perfect but the girls had fun with the placement. My niece just loves her new "poopies"

I put myself through a little weed camp the other day. Forcing myself to cut and weed graphics with a lot of detail for practice. Trying to work on techniques and experimenting with various tools. I'm liking the pointed tweezers for most weeding. Did three of these 6"x14" eagles. The banner has some 1/4" and 1/8" fine font which was great fun......
