How intricate is the design? I have an SC and when it does this is because it is low on memory. I have to clear and select a lower number to cut.

Jim, I know this question has been asked numerous times on this board. The search option really is your best friend. I own a USCUTTER SC. The only thing I can say is it works great but my next machine will be a Graphtec! The SC is noisy small details are a little bit of a learning process in the set up. Once dialed in it cuts well. The memory is not all that, in other words it will not take a lot of detail. My advice is go ahead and jump up to the Graphtec just to save time

Thanks Wild Goose. Food for thought

I have had this issue too with my SC cutter. What I have found is when the design has more data than the machine has memory. So if iam doing 10 decals and not enough memory I drop it to 5 then don't have an issue

Just curious, if one bought the Ricoh printer how long do the ink cartridges last? I am torn since I wouldn't be using this as often as some of ya'll. If I was to go with the Epson it would need constant attention to keep from clogging. I know the cost of replacement cartridges is higher on the Ricoh but with less chance of messing the print heads up. You see I am not at home a lot these days but I still want to increase my equipment for my little side business.
Thanks, Butch

Real Nice but I bet it was a pain in the ... with the air eraser filling it up so often but nice perseverance in completing it!

darc that's exactly what I meant, outlaw I should have said it more clearer. No sweat! I did think that was what you meant but did not take any offense. I know everyone is trying to help so I am appreciative of this.
Thanks again everyone!

The design was originally hand drawn by the middle sister for the younger sister's bat-mitzvah. Thus the reason to duplicate by a trace.

ARRGG! Appliance woes

I used to do appliance repair but was too honest and couldn't make any money. You are right most of the guys I worked with (not all) were parts changers and didn't know how to diagnose the problem! Most of the time the owner doesn't care because all he sees is the bottom line whether you fix it or not!
