24" Roland color camm pro pc-600

Thanks for the input, I am heavily leaning towards getting it since it seems like a really good deal. Yesterday I purchased my first cutter (48" laserpoint with a box full of vinyl for $300) got a great deal and since I spent much less than I planned this would seem like a fairly cheap option for a printer/cutter even if I have to pay some money to get the printing repaired.
  3. I have the opportunity to buy a 24" Roland color camm pro pc-600 for 500 dollars, seller says that it cuts fine but one of the 8 ribbon holders doesnt work correctly. How much would it cost to replace it and does it seem like a good deal? I am new and guessing that the ribbon holders are used for printing.

    Intro and some decals.

I was thinking about getting the uscutter laserpoint 24" since I plan on doing some larger decals in the future. But I have not made the decision yet. The Roland stika does look pretty appetizing....but not sure if its in my budget.

Wow, those are some very nice cuts. I am new as well and am about to purchase my first machine hopefully this weekend. And would be very happy if I could make anything close to those.

    24" or 36" Laserpoint ????

I will definitely take that advice. That's why I want to get the ball rolling and order one, so I have some time to learn the ins and outs of cutting before I get serious with it. I think I will start out with the 24" as it seems more than enough for what I plan begin with.

    24" or 36" Laserpoint ????

I am going to start a vinyl graphics and sign business. To start out it will be mostly decals small and maybe some car decals. Would it be recomended to jump to the 36" laserpoint or save the 120 dollars and get the 24"? I do plan to cut larger in the future but I will probably start out going to farmers markets and such and think it will be more smaller stuff.
