I'm running the US Cutter 24" cutter, but I have it at the sloooooooowest setting because I find it makes the corner cuts better. I ended up driving down to there to install the dragon for them... OH MY GOD they gave me soooo much food. Really nice people, it made me feel pretty good, but I think I'm going to go with your $25 an hr quote from now on, thank you! Now to try to figure out how in the heck to lay two color vinyl properly!

You make a valid point. I wonder what folks in the Minneapolis area charge, I wonder if I called and asked (not posing as a customer) if they would be honest and tell me. Right now its a hobby mostly. I've made over 100 decal designs, I think I've sold 11 of them (at $2 each) in the last 3 months. Luckily its a lot of fun... I've been working OT just to pay for this "fun" little venture, but to be honest the hours invested vs the output tells me I'm doing something very very wrong, but I'm hoping that it will break soon.

Notify fail! Sorry didnt notice replies! The paint mask is amazing, it does a really great job... I've played around quite a bit with it at this point, mostly controllers, cloth, glass I want to give it a test with acid when I get a chance... I think I can use it to acid etch steel(no I dont expect the material to resist acid), its something to play around with when I get a chance. I ordered another roll from H&H, I cant remember who turned me on to that site, but its been pretty great. I also bought a Roland Super Cutter 60

last night I worked on my first major mask, 650 layer vector it took my cutter 20 min to cut the thing, and I started weeding it at midnight and finished around 6am I'm now wondering how it will transfer over with so many little bits

Oh Dear Lord I should have done this YEARS ago! Seriously I think I spent all of 10 minutes from design, to load, to cut for both sides and that included putting the transfer film on the mask! I cant wait until Monday!

Well I had a chance to play around with my new plotter last night, and today before leaving for the office I used it for the first time I made a mask and applied it to my wifes car I used a lot of the transfer film as an overspray mask I shot it with Wrangler Silver (this is a rattle can job since it's so small) I think it turned out pretty decent I cant wait until Monday when I start painting my first guitar and I think a Playstation 2 for good measure!

Q'plah! I went to FTDI's site and downloaded the latest driver version 2.06.02, and manually updated the driver. For anyone else who needs to know how to do that, click here for FTDI's install manual (that link takes you to a list where you can choose your OS).

I just bought my MH721, it came today and I've been trying to get it to connect in Windows XP Pro via USB. The device does show up when connected via USB I've tried to install the drivers on the Mini-Disk that came with the device from both of the containing folders (232 & 340), in which case I keep getting the "Cannot install hardware" prompt with each and every allowable directory on the disc. I followed the step-by-step in the noob guide, and downloaded the drivers listed in the guide as well, all met with the same error. I tried to boot off the machine and let it come back up clean (with and without a full device uninstall from the Device Manager), all without success... I'm sure I'm missing something simple, can someone point me in the right direction please?
