Signcut Cutter Settings
dgdave replied to dgdave's topic in USCutter Refine Cutting Plotter Support Requests
Just figured it out -
I've got a MH365 and I'm running xp. I just had to replace my motherboard and now its not cutting. I have the "use windows serial settings" box checked. Thats what I've always had. Now, when I hit cut out, the progress box pops up and the time just keeps going up. Any thoughts?

My boys went to spend a few days with the grandparents, so I painted his room and put up a bunch of decals. He's 8 and really likes video games like most other 8 yr olds

I tightened up the springs on the rollers and that fixed the issue -

Using Serial to USb to connect MH365
dgdave posted a topic in USCutter Refine Cutting Plotter Support Requests
SO here is some background, there is a problem with the usb port on my MH365. I have to replace the USB cable every 2-3 weeks. (I get an error that it can't recognize the device) Now the usb has just stopped working. I have submitted a ticket for this. I just went and bought a Serial to USB adapter. Installed it and everything is recognized. I had to change SignCut to send info to COM7. Now SignCut shows it sending the info to the cutter (it shows the progress box), but the plotter does not move. Any thoughts or solutions on this? -

How much for a truck back window, tailgait, and some smaller decals for the side Windows? Possible some 8x12 decals for the sides. All would be made of one color

Just got my plotter and I'm LOVING it. I'm a disc (or frisbee) golfer and I use the plotter to cut out masks to dye the discs. This is so much faster and more efficient than hand drawing and cutting the images. I've already got a ton of help from this board. Glad to be here. This shows the process a bit. This was a hand cut one

Here's one for my mother in law

Here's my first non-disc mask. Just something simple for my kid's bathroom

I put rit in a pan and heat it to about 160 degrees and soak the disc for 20-40 minutes. Pull it out, rinse it off, and take off the vinyl. This is what comes out...
