I've used that vinyl before. Good product!

Thanks for the tips! I think with this, since it's going to be printed and then cut into letters, the only time there *might* be a problem is between print -> cut stage. I think when it's cut down to letters, since it's note even 1/4 of a whole bill, it meets the specifications.

I use Grimco.

I need some vinyl printed and laminated. I'm going to be using it cut some designs out of, but I can't find anywhere that stocks a pattern I need. It needs to be a 100 dollar bill pattern like this: http://www.portwallpaper.com/imgwal/100-dollar-bills.jpg Any quotes? Needing about 2yd or so.

I have a X-Acto Cutter from Staples works great. Wish I had spent money on the laser one though.

Doesn't look *that* hard to be honest. Why not ask him/her if you can take the liberty of connected the tiny pieces to the side, then just doing a side swipe motion to weed it and raise the price to where your labor is compensated. Tell him that's the only way vs. print + contour.

This job was back at the start of the summer, can you give me an e-mail on your prices though? caleb@mingle-graphics.com. I'm always looking for things outsourced.
-
Nope, sadly. Haha. I did around 25 of them before they just ate too much into my time. I suggested that they go the printed route vs. die cut (the weeding was just too horrible!) and they understood haha. They made an awesome product though.

I was just asking mainly because of the rise of US Army things I've seen on the forum, mirrors, etc.

Thanks for the link!

Looks like the application tape you're using doesn't like your backing paper. I had that problem too. Not sure if you've ever tried one with RLA (Release Liner Adhesive), but it helps to make your product look even more professional unless you're installing them. As well as a paper trimmer. If the vinyl you're using has a grid on the back, just sit a light next to the paper trimmer and you can line up that grid and square off a decal in just a second, make it look even better. Just an idea!

Just wondering about the copyright of their logos, anyone know?

The story behindit, customer had a logo... no vector ready format at all.. about the size of... a business card. Very detailed multi-colored, wanted a single color diecut. It looked nothing like this. Hit autotrace and knew it wasn't going to do anything... but this came out.. and me, and the business thought it looked cool. Ordered 150, wanted them die-cut not printed.. almost 45 minutes to weed this thing, especially inside the teeth. I'm not sure if there's a single one that has the things.. things are missing from each but you can't tell haha.

Not sure if this saying is trademarked, but a family member asked for one so I made her one free for her laptop.. thought it came out good.
