uh oh just set it up today So its not the vinyl I'm using? The sample was 3M. I was reading on another thread that MacTac, Avery, Oracle and a few other types of vinyl will work. Not true??

hey everyone I just bought a epson 1400 wide format printer. It has Claria High def ink. I wanted to make some decals etc. I picked up a sample of 3m printable vinyl. The ink doesn't absorb at all. I've read that the epson inks work well for printing this sort of thing. Any ideas? Is this the wrong ink? -

Does the Copam have the same sensor for finding reference as the Graphtec? Thats the only reason I was considering the Robo Pro ( for the ease of contour cutting decals )

It seems as though the topic of my thread has been highjacked lol. Can anyone give me some info on the ebson 1400 and graphtec cutters

Hello, I'm looking for some input on the epson 1400 wide format printer. I was thinking of purchasing this unit to make stickers, vinyl signs etc in a small capacity. The specs say it can print 13 x 19. Is it possible to print much longer if you have the material cut over 19inches. I planned to buy a cutter as well. Is this a good choice in printers to do what I have planned?? The price fits my budget. As well, is it worth buying the Graphtec Craft Robo Pro for the sensor, or can a regular Graphtec cutter do the job cutting vinyl and sticker profiles easily? thank you

I found a epson 1400 on sale. It comes with Claria Hi-Definition Ink. Will this work well for the printable vinyl. As well............do most prefer the spray on laminate ( frog juice ) instead of the sheets. I don't have a laminate machine, so if the spray works better I'd go that way/ thanks -

Hi guys, I'm looking for some opinions on the best printer to buy for making the decals. Budget roughly $100 - $200. Thanks -
Hello I have some experience cutting vinyl using Adobe and a 24" cutter. I want to purchase a small machine to cut vinyl, as well as make stickers. My question is if the Graphtec Robo Pro is the best machine to buy. I thought the reference mark sensor would be useful for the stickers. The machine would be used for personal projects and maybe small production runs. Could someone give me some help on how the sticker making process works. As I understand, you print the stickers with a printer and cut the the profile using the cutter. Do I need a special printer for stickers?? Can you print on vinyl etc?? If anyone has advice or a link to help with the sticker process that would be appreciated. Equipment, materials, howt to's etc.
