Issues with mh721....
deth502 replied to t.schultz's topic in Criticism and Complaints about USCutter
i would guess artwork issue too. your sure you loaded the vinyl in straight? on the "squiggly lines" part, if you mean very small squiggles, mine will do that if the blade isint turning right in the holder. maybe every 4-6 mths i notice it. i clean the holder by trying to get some brush bristles (i always keep chip brushes around all my equipment, from the metal lathe and drill press to the laptop, great for cleaning form chips to dust) up in it and then getting a little bit of dry lube in it. the dry graphite stuff that they make to spray into locks to lube them. -
Where to get pens and keychains

the only trouble ive know of with vista print was when i got something for their quored price, then when i went to reorder, the price was almost doubled. they said the initial price was a "special" and any re orders of the same product would be the new higher "regular price" that was kind of a kick in the nuts. if you make a minor change it become a "new" item, and you can get the special. stupid, but other than that, no problems. although i havent dealt with them much, but i know a lot of other ppl who have used them too without problem. -

doesnt vista print do pens and keychains? -
as i was reading this back to check it after i posted, something came to mind. i have to admit. im on a lot of gun forums, and whenever someone asks for advice on what to buy to get started in reloading, i always give the same reply. get the better stuff. if you like it, it will last, if you dont, it will retain more of its resale value. so maybe im a hypocrite. i still stand behind my first post, but i wont disagree with any one who thinks im wrong.

i have one. no complaints. once or twice it did screw up a cut. thats out of about 1000 decals so far, so .2%, imo, is acceptable. i had no idea what i was getting into. it was a very minimal investment to get it. now that i am getting the hang of it, if it did go, id likely get a better one. but i would not have wanted to spend big $$$ on something that wasnt going to work out for me. ive heard many complaints about them. maybe i got lucky? maybe its mostly user error? idk. if i had to do again knowing what i know now, i MIGHT start out with a better one. but i dont regret the decision at all.

decal price sheet?
deth502 replied to RockerSigns's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
i have some designs that i sell in 2"x2" as well as 3x3 and 4x4. i used the calculator on that website and got less than .30 for a 2x2. thats less than 7.5 cents an inch. not worth getting off the couch for that, imo. -
thanks!! and right back at 'ya!

note for future occurrences: alt + f4 closes active window.

i wouldnt see this thing having a problem going through any banner. mine has been sitting since i got it last week, i decided to give it a trial run. no banners here, so i decided that my mechanics gloves in the shop are always getting lost in the file box, so ill hang them up. i was very skeptical as to weather the grommets would be able to cut through on there own, but i gave it a shot to see how theyd do. easily went through a layer of velcro (the fuzzy part) and about a 3/32" of fiber reinforced rubber on the tabs of the gloves. im a believer now.

yes, exactly, and they are mirrored. the idea is for the clock to be read and appear normally in a mirror. started out in barber shops so the person looking in the mirror having their hair cut could read a clock on the wall beind them.
-
just take any clock face and there should be an option to reverse it in whatever cutter program your using. the size and/or distance between anything dosent matter. a clock is read by the angle of the hand from the center, and no matter what size you scale it to , the angle will remain the same, as long as you do not distort the image.

im not a math expert, but i just broke out my calculator, and after about 30 min of calculating and deliberation, i have come to a conclusion. yes, a 1/2" pinstripe will fit within a 15" width of vinyl.

when i go to print, i cannot go to the registration mark box, it says its "not available in this level of signblazer" will dl-ing the linked version solve this? im hesitant to try without knowing, as i finally got rid of most of the annoying startup screens on it, and dont want to start over.

im gonna take a shot in the dark here.... when you type out your text, the you go to the dims on the bottom of the window to select teh measurements you want, are you sure that the "keep proportional" box is NOT checked, so that you can size the length and height separately?
