Loosing Entire Design When Going To "Cutter"

SELECT THE DESIGN..then go to cutter, it will show up.promise. if you dont select it, sometimes it wont show.
  2. The briteline vinyl I have been cutting lately will cut at 50-70 anything over 70 slices right through. I am having a very hard time fine tuning for fine detail. I think i just need to get a diff blade. I did notice something that i THINK I have a cure for. On this particular brand vinyl and a few others if i adjust my blade so that it physically cant cut through the material and set my downforce so that im cutting through vinyl and barely into backing...I notice I get shadows of the blade holder showing on the white vinyl. It wipes away but it leads me to believe that if you sent your blade holder off for a hard annodize or any annodic coating for that matter, it would be smooth as butter when it does make contact and should not lift details. I dont know if im making any sense this morning. had too much coffee already lol.

    Ordered the Copam last night

ill take a pic if i can on monday, The cutter is cutting a job right now and i dont want to interupt it to cut the sample. it cuts everything a-ok except the sample detail test cut. I suspect its just not a sharp image they uploaded to the cutter from the factory. really jagged

    Ordered the Copam last night

got really nervous for a min....did the copam detailed test cut and it looked horrible. jagged lines/jagged radius's/etc...... in signblazer made a series of diff size circles and squares up to 5" ...did a few fonts looked good. So my question is....the detailed test cut that is in the machines memory just garbage? bc other cuts look good. so far im

  14. IF you are talking about stickers the manufacturers gave you, you can sell them. IF you are talking about stickers/decals you REcreated and are trying sell, YOU CAN NOT DO SO. thats my take on it, correct me if im wrong
  15. Hello guys, I have followed the forum for awhile now. a little background...I worked for a sign shop years ago. for the past 14years i have been doing cnc programing and machining. I own a large import automotive forum. I usually have others make stickers and shirts but for the past 5 years i keep asking why? Why dont I just do this myself and if all goes well-for others too. so here is my question....do I a) buy a copam and see where it takes me? maybe buy a heatpress as well. save a few more weeks and buy a ce5000-60,eventually get a heat press and something to print with? If the copam did contour cutting i would have bought it long ago. I also consider graphtec craft robo pro but think 14.7" cutting area may limit me quick. I have searched and searched the net for things cut with copam/videos/reviews/anything and find suprisingly little.I just wish i could find a little more feedback on it. I dont like spending money twice. any suggestions or thoughts is greatly appreciated

    Thinking about a copam,but.....

This is along the lines of what i am thinking now.....The copam/sunie heat press or even used stahls is still less money than the graphtec alone. The Graphtec has contour cutting BUT, it would be atleast 6 months before i could buy a printer so that i could take advantage of contour cutting. Im talking myself into going with a copam/heatpress for now. im thinking get the 24" for now(after/when/if I can sell enough Ill buy a larger graphtec. I ran one years ago and loved it) heat press, prob look around for a 16x20 vinyl (651 basic colors, some easyweed, some flock) flexi starter My website has a logo that other sign shops(small online shops) have been stealing and selling for years and it drives me to my wits end. We created the logo in the late 90's and it has become a international symbol for people into import cars. Some of the people who have stole my design tried to argue that it is a "universal symbol". well, it is and it represents our website and we created it. So, I have decided I will start making the stickers myself and i guess my first order of business is to trademark my logo. Never thought id have to do that since everyone knows who and what the symbol represents when they see it. But, some people will do anything to make a buck I suppose. sorry for the off topic rant! just really frustrating that others make money off what we have been known to give away free. =/ thanks for the responses, I have enjoyed coming to this board. I have no clue why i didnt register sooner.
