I recieved my cutter a few days ago, I have a work shop in the basement, also a laundry , is the machine to sensitive to be placed in an area with some moister from dryer, also dust from woodworking projects. Is it best to place in the upstairs in drier conditions? Also I have a newer computer upstairs ,but will have to use USB port, is this as reliable as serial or parallel port. Thanks, Mark

I recieved my machine yesterday, set-up was very easy. I am going to use a serial port, not USB, there is a small disc included( besides sign software) in the bag with the blades and pen, is this disc the drivers for the USB, do I disregard this CD? Thanks, Mark

I have noticed the 24" cutter going on E-Bay for around $300.00, or 34" buy it now for $289.00 plus $65.00 shipping. For an extra $50.00 seems like the 34" is a good deal, or is there an advantage to the 24". Thanks, Mark

I have been hand lettering signs for 25 years or so, I am a little confused, if I purchase a 24" cutter and my type is say 2" in height and 36" long , can I turn my type 90deg. and cut. I hope I explained this clearly. Thanks, Mark

I have been a woodworker and primative sign maker for 25 years , mostly as a hobby. I am 54 years old. I have not purchased a machine yet, it seems this would be good place to get that advice. I would like to use as a stencil cutter mostly, so I can personalize a sign or furniture piece, also can I use a software such as corel draw to do the graphics and lettering design. Thanks, Mark
