My Computer is saving the original image as a PNG not a SVG maybe that is the problem

Thanks Jay I appreciate it I did all that and still when I import into signblazer nothing shows up. The .EPS will open in my other programs just not my signblazer. Your Inkscape save screens are a little different them mine also. I guess this one just isn't meant to be. Thank You much for your time

Ok I tried that earlier and again just now and SignBlazer will not open it...

http://www.hyaz.com/static%20cling%20inkjet%20clear%20white%20instructions.htm I was looking at using a product like this and purchasing one of the Epson 1100.... Is this possible???

I tried that for a while and my dongle loses connections every so often and my LXi would freeze because if it.. I lost a few projects I was working on because I failed to save them every so often as I work on them.

I'm sorry can I make that cuttable somehow.. I know I forgot to mention I was cutting them I guess thats what happens when I don't get my coffee before work.

I have a photo of the S10 Blazer I took and import it into my LXi to show what the text will look like on there. My question is what is the best way to get the text to follow the arc at the top of the window. I want to match my text to the arc. Should I make my workspace the same size and the window and to it that way so it stays at scale or is there a general rule or formula to use to get the desired effect I am looking for?

I thank that will do very well....Thank you everyone!

I guess I don't understand what is so difficult about the clings. Can someone give me some more insight on what is so difficult. This are going to be very temporary displays but I haven't read anywhere what is so difficult.

does anyone know of a good cheap tint program?
Dr12volt1338 replied to furbyzx7's topic in Other Materials
Dollar for Dollar the best thing to do is find a window tinter who will train you. you can get and do it all by hand its a much better fit and cheaper to cut by hand. The worst part is learning how to shrink the film to fit the glass. I have done it for a while and am still learning and I have worked with some of the best tinters in the country. -
Windows 7 Inkscape version .48.0-1 It's a very new laptop no viruses I am pretty computer savy. It works fine for a few months then all of a sudden it just won't open and I get the error message

I have been cutting off and on for a few years now and the last month I have been very busy. I have had a few potential customers wanting me to do some small scale print jobs on a few basic logos. I was able to talk them into letting me cut them but the detail and color options were not what I was hoping for. The customer was happy and I guess in the end that was the important part. I have been reading on here the last few days about people using the Epson WF1100 and was wondering what kind of quality you were getting. It appears from the investment stand point I can pick one up for around $120. I am just looking to do some small local school logos maybe 4x4 or 6x6 nothing huge maybe 50 or so at a time. Is the quality going to be what I am looking for and will I be able to keep the price down around $5 or so on this size graphic. I have a canon printer I use now as just a printer can I maybe buy special ink for that and use that. I know I have read I need to buy special vinyl to print on as I tried a few years ago to print on the Richcal Vinyl I use now and the ink would not dry but that was on an older Epson or HP printer scanner in one. Maybe if someone can post some pics of things they have done with the Epson they have or maybe if there is another "value" printer I should look at... Thanks Guys & Gals.
