Y axis not working
etchworks replied to etchworks's topic in LaserPoint Cutting Plotter Support Requests
Thanks. Very frustrating !! -
I have a 48" laserpoint and I never actually calibrated the x and y axis. Just thought it would work properly out of the box. Well I noticed some stuff is not the same size as others. so I tried to calibrate the cutter the x axis seems to be fine but the y axis is too big by 1/8 of an inch in 5 inches and as the object gets bigger so does the increase in the y axis cut. I have tried to reset the y but everything I do seems to do nothing I have tried to lower the y axis number and I still get the 1/8 inch too big. I am back to the default of 25858 for the Y and 25795 for the X. Anyone have any ideas?? I'm using Flexi on an XP machine. I also tried the cut in signblazer and I'm getting the same problem. Any help is appreciated. Dave

pretty recently someone posted something about a moose metal detecting they took bullwinkle and a metal detector and put them together, maybe you can find the metal detector and put it together with one of your diver images. Just an idea but, it might work.
