what did you get it to work in SB or cut master what did you do

if your using SB you will have to change the code in the cutter from GPGL ti HPGL GPGL is if your going to use there AI or Corel plug in everthing else uses HPGL

to save it in a smaller file - if the document properties is sized 12X12 re size the job to 2x2 then change the document properties and it will be a smaller file size then or save it as a PDF file and it will be much smaller and it will still be a cutable

also purchase an external hard drive. discs get scratched and unusable, cd/dvd drives quit +1 add to that -- get a software program that will do a backup of your complete system every night and save it to external hard drive we have 2 computers we design and cut from - everynight they get backed up on 2 diffrent hard drives about 3 months ago we lost 90 % of everything - family pics - work jobs so no were over kill - the main computer is backed up 2xs in 2 diffrent locations

any chance of getting this in an eps? pdf files are vector files - you should be able to open it in inkscape or what ever you use - and then click on the node button and there is nodes and everything there - PDF files are nice they are a much smaller file size i cant put on an eps right now but use the pdf it should be fine for you

no problem it doesnt look 100% like th epic you have but its all i could find as far as what it was hope its close enough for ya

i have looked for it and i will keep looking but cant find the font or a vector of motorsports - i tried whatthefint but nothing and brandoftheworld they have one close but not the same thing - worse case i can get that one and edit it the way i want - i may be able to make the font but don't have a lot of time right now

i know there is a lot of places that you can get free eps files or you have to play a lot of money for one eps - i have seen as high as $30 or more - i have been organizing our files and just thinking if anyone would be interested - it would be a cheap easy way to someone to get a lot of stuff mainly the newbies. don't have to search everywhere for one thing. if not no big deal - i was going to sell them $10 a sheet just for my time everything on the sheets are open source royalty free files that i know of. there isnt any trademark stuff that i know of. here is some samples of what they are i still have alot of work to do but if people are interested i will keep working on what i have and if there is interest let me know what subject your looking for and i can start to compile that topic - flames - pin striping - tribal what ever - it just does take time to set everything up BAND SET 1.pdf BAND SET 1.pdf

i can either use - inkcut that is an add on for inkscape to cut from or tux plot - we prefer tux plot were just use to it we started with that one - and i havent tested inkcut too much yet there is 3 videos that i put on youtube do a search for linux tux plot - or linux vinyl cutter they will show you have to set it up - for tux plot and i couldnt get tux plot to work with any of the cutters that use a usb to serial converter - pcut or mh if your using them then you should try inkcut

ok so i have been testing 2 different linux based programs one cuts just from inkscape and the other cuts from any vector program inkscape - sk1 - gimp or WINE programs corel and adobe both seem very stable and have a lot of great features what i have been working on now is cutting right from inkscape in windows and doing a contour cut in linux but i think im missing something there not sure what it is yet but when i find out i will let ya know

I agree on that one, your just trying to sell us our own graphics that we posted to help others. my 2c. the graphics are free, leave it that way. no none came from this site -- and how many times have we all seen - "this is my first post i need a butterfly" all i was wanting to do is help out some people that can look thru everything and just get the sets they want - like i said earlier it takes alot of time to set everything up

well first i do help others LOL i have been since i have learned the software - and still am today. Yes I can do this(send to PM on desktop then cut from there) but I was thinking i should be able to cut straight from my laptop. yes you can i cant find how i did it - its very easy to set up and since we dont have windows anymore i cant set mine up to do it i would look in pereferances or options or go to there website and sent a help request

yes you can we were set up that way - cutter connected to computer "A" did designs on computer "B" then sent cut from B to A and the cutter cut its been a while but you have to load flexi on both computers and there is a place to check on the flexi that is on computer A - something like allow to use remote flexi to cut i will see how to set it up - but it can be done dont give up

draw a 6x6 square and then cut it measure it and post the square that you made here and i can cut it and see if its your software or hardware
