So one of my kids stepped on my dongle that I had for my machine to run VE LXI version 7 I think it is. So now I need to find a different software to use. Does anyone know of any other software confirmed that would work with it? Or perhaps the cheapest source to get a copy of LXI?

I highly doubt Outback Steakhouse would give a single damn about your design for some small storage unit, I don't even see them catching the smallest wind of the matter.

Market it as a newly discovered type of bass. If the mouth goes back behind the eye it is largemouth, if it ends around the middle of the eye it is smallmouth.

I love playing with the laser cutters/engravers at my local makerplace, they have two 100w and an 80w, nice quality ones.
That is about as good as you are gonna get on cutting wood, the thicker stuff just takes too much heat and starts to burn it up. They are nice for engraving wood or cutting like 1/8" stuff but getting beyond that for wood is router territory.

Hard to tell with the wrinkles but they look like smallmouth to me

the 3/4 inch requirement was done away with a few years ago.Pretty sure I read that somewhere as well. However, every teller I have gone to would refuse me tracking on a flat envelope(be it this was not long after I read they changed it, so probably just poor training to update them on new policies). The self service kiosk thing also still asks if it is rigid or >3/4" thick, in which if I want to send first class with tracking I would just select that option.

You should be able to fit the other logos within the big star to not waste much vinyl
-
I would print through paypal and get tracking or go to the post office and use the self service kiosk and select the 3/4" or rigid option that way I never had to deal with the postal clerk.

I have access to a cnc router and laser cutters/engravers. Looks like something cool to make -
Pretty sure they are custom made for most situations which is why you can't find em that easily.

Bet that smelled yummy.

Looks overpriced. Bet you can get the same stuff from those $5-10 sellers on ebay.

I don't see how running a storefront for simple stuff done on a cutter could be profitable. But hey if you can get it done then good on ya.

Are there people running store fronts with simply a cutter and a couple heat presses?
I wouldn't even think about going with a store front unless I had multiple cutters (at least a small to knock off smaller decals and what not and a large one for larger item contour cutting), wide format printer (48"+ to be able to handle full color banners/signs and what not), professional heat press that I wouldn't have to worry about running large amounts of orders through, maybe some screen printing stuff for doing garments/signs and all that.
Definitely couldn't see myself throwing down many many thousands to open up a shop with only basic equipment when you then have to compete against other places that are stacked with big time equipment in the back room.

I just wonder if the used advertised Graphtec that JeremySI bought with the unadvertised (Signwarehouse board in it) had contour cutting.. Maybe he will respond.I doubt it, their boards don't support it from what I am aware of unless you get the Q series(graphtec f series). That is one of the main reasons I was really pissed about the cutter, I was thinking of getting a sp300v and using the cutter to CC the smaller things that fit on it instead of taking up time on the printer. If I do get a printer this one will probably get sold off.

Nice looking grill

Use some of that knifeless tape stuff.

Must be making some damn good money to stick around with a kiosk that costs that much.

The one mall near me has one guy doing decals, license plate frames and a couple other normal doodads that go along with slapping vinyl on them and like 15 feet down from him is someone with a cutter and doing heat presses. Must be enough of a market to make some cash with a kiosk at a mall, but then again I am in SD so lots o' people around.
-
My brother started off running a kiosk(not exactly this business) and sort of built up his client base and tested out the mall scene. After a while of being successful and knowing it was a good place to be he moved into an actual store there in the mall.
Just giving options.
Titan 3 54" with 15" roller spacing blowout - under $1000

15" fixed spacing. Would never work for me, I always do small things on vinyl cutoffs. Should work good though for people who do large prints or only larger decals
