    All *.eps files are bad?

Might need to re-save the .eps files into an older version 7 or 8 format that CutStudio supports.

    power up issue

Power supply maybe. Possibly the main board or wiring too.
  3. Yea- not Levi's fault. Crummy exchange policy is due to offering the cutters at rock-bottom pricing. Dell is top of the line pricing for computers, and they have a great exchange/ repair policy, as you stated. eMachines, on the other hand, are rock-bottom priced computers, and have similar- VERY LIMITED- exchange/ repair policies. So, if one wants 'Dell' type exchange policies, one should purchase a more expensive cutter. ESPECIALLY if the cutter is used for business purposes. I do feel for your situation though, and I am sure Levi did too. Problem lies with the ones in charge of the policies.
  4. Not sure, but maybe double check.

    problems

They should get you squared away.
  6. We are talking about the silver metal feed rollers, yea? Could have swore that both ends of the feed rollers had at least 2 screws on the MH series. Been awhile- maybe it has changed.
  7. The feed rollers can be tightened, and I have seen them loose right out of the box, or even a couple of years after being used. Just takes a little allen wrench to tighten the screws for the feed rollers. Just spin the roller with the play until you see the screws. Tighten them. Good luck!

    Problems with cuts

Keyspan USB to Serial adaptor....worth a try.

    problems

Got a power cord from a computer or monitor you could try, instead of the one that came with the unit? That is the first place to start if you already tried another outlet. Cheapo Chinese cutters come with cheapo Chinese power cords..... If that does not help- could be wiring or the power supply itself. Not too hard to replace. Good luck!
  10. Without using software to cut- how does the test cut come out on the MH?

    MH 721 Driver?

www.uscutter.com then go to their support site- downloads section.
  13. More pressure and less blade sticking out could help.
  14. With the unit turned off- try moving the feed rollers with your fingers. Any play or slipping in them? If the under assembly screw did not help- might be the actual feed roller screws that have come loose. I also see the missing bracket, which is a bugger to replace. Not sure it was 100% necessary for a clean cut though. Been awhile- I forget.
  15. Maybe try the slowest cut setting to see if it will help with the drifting.
  16. " -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have both a refine 721 and pcut 630 cutter, I was having the same problem with the cutters not completing the cuts, freezing and locking up, loosing communication with the cutter etc..... I was using both cutters on usb and tried the usb to serial converters with no luck. When the cutters did complete the cuts they worked great so I was pretty sure that there was no problems with the cutters... Here is what I did to solve the problem, both of the computers I was using the cutters on were laptops with only usb connections, no serial or parallel ports......One had both a PCMCIA slot and expresscard slot the other one only had an expresscard slot, one is running XP and the other Vista.....I installed a PCMCIA to serial port card and an expresscard to serial port card to give me a db9 serial port on both computers and connected the cutters to the serial ports on both computers and to date both cutters have worked flawlessly..... Most laptops are going to have some type of expansion slot either PCMCIA or expresscard, just be sure to get the correct card for your machine so it fits and works correctly. I think what was causing my problems is that I was overloading the usb bus and just didnt have enough power to run everything at the same time (even using powered usb hubs). Cant guarantee that this will solve all problems but it sure took care of mine..... I got both cards from newegg.com..... Best of Luck.. Dale "

    Help please

Gotta be the blade. 60 is a good standard pressure setting for the Copam, if I remember correctly. Been awhile. RIP Jerry!!

ROBO Master Pro Supported File Types

Interesting, I am at a loss. Hopefully someone else with more Robo Master exeperience will chime in. I did not get to use it much, and when I did, it was not for printing, sorry.

Sounds like you have made all proper troubleshooting steps. Have you tried a different blade? Maybe you just have a bunk blade.

ROBO Master Pro Supported File Types

If it is cutter software, it probably only accepts vector file formats, such as .eps or .ai, and not raster file formats, such as the ones you were trying to import (.jpg, .gif, .tiff, etc.). Are you trying to print to the Epson with the Robo Master software?
  23. USB connection? Have you tried Serial? Oops! Retarded question- I see now you already tried Serial and could not get it to work. :-
  24. not on the same job - sounds like static in the stand - but you also got that covered so Next I would try the serial connection +1 9-pin Serial connection would help.
