Vinyl master contour cut not lined up

It gives up on the second registration mark on the back right side? -
Customer asked to see on clear- this is Scotchcal 220--now THAT stuff smells funny
-
I hear you Mark. It is indeed the font: Dead Font Walking
-
Looks cool Andrew. So is that gold vinyl on black magnet?

As long as you get a decent stepper motor cutter, small cuts will take some dialing in with: 1. Blade 2. Pressure 3. Speed 3. Patience but doable. http://www.uscutter.com/USCutter-LaserPoint-II-Vinyl-Cutter-w-Sure-Cuts-A-Lot-Pro-Design-Cut-Software

welcome- you have a good machine.

Has anyone tried while running windows 10: 1. Right click the software icon. 2. Properties- comapatbility- run as windows 7? I did this for my flexi software- made for XP that i run on windows 7 Edit: i restarted the computer after doing the above.

I actually had good success with a book from the library. or if you want to do something specific- youtube has some great tutorials. your local community college may have a class, and if you are in a big City, there are Adobe certified course trainers.

Once its hooked up- make sure your software and device settings are using the proper COM port connected to the adaptor, and try a test file. If you have problems, see if the Baud rate is the same on the plotter and the COM port. -- if you have a manual, it may show you more communication settings.

If you really want to do contour cutting, I haven't ready any complaints from the Rolands. My older graphtec works really well, but took some dialing in and adjustments.... -
I agree---- Nice personal review of the cutter. Seems- like a nice machine for the price... I laughed out loud when he said: "Step Away from the Stepper Motor"...good one.

spy agency may be close also

Hmmm..perhaps they can be trimmed, and sell them as jet ski, or smaller boat decals... Or barrier decals for a racetrack, or off road store interior wall or signage...mancave or garage graphics..

Hi everyone, so I am working on a simple number four. I traced and created a vector, and its two colors ( black shadow and white on front) I am printing onto clear vinyl. However, the center of the four I would like to have no color--and show the background on whatever its applied to. For some reason, when I created it its either WHITE or BLACK.--Using Signblazer and Flexi, I tried NO FILL in Flexi, changed colors, etc and just cant seem to nail it. Its the small white triangle in the hole. If you can put me in the right direction - it would be greatly appreciated :) oops- will have to attach file).. 4 ver 1.EPS

Good thing to check skeeter- i forgot that

So it powers up, and you say there are just squares on the lcd...that means its getting power and the pixels are working ( earler you said it was blank).if the fan comes on also, that rules out the power supply... Time to start replacing parts... A motherboard for the Pcut is only 20 bucks...check and research if its the same as pcut. It all depends how much you want to put into it.

Glad you got it running! These instruction are for an FC- but you can get the idea. I could not post the instructions with page above due to file size: 2 Adjusting RM Sensor Offset (method 1) FC7000.pdf -
well, if you are comfortable with it, remove power cord, pull the covers off, flip up the upper lid, and check the wiring... I have posted pictures of my wire harnesses etc in the past on one of the Support or general question forums: http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php?/forum/42-creation-pcut-cutting-plotter-support-requests/ http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php?/forum/41-creation-pcut-cutting-plotter-discussion/ I am not sure if anyone does repairs for that model, but there are plenty of parts for sale at uscutter.com

Hmmm...and nothing on the screen? try turning off, turn on....wait a few seconds and try #2 again...That machine looks just like the PCUT, I would think the menus are the same.

well to start: 1. what kind of cord-- USB or Serial ( 9 pin RS-232)? If it is USB then he is most likely right. you should use this for that cutter::http://www.uscutter.com/Keyspan-USB-Serial-Adapter 2. To check the cutter if its functioning.: When you hear the fan come on -- wait a few seconds, then press ONLINE. Press the left and right arrows. You should see the carriage move left and right. Press the up down arrows- you should see the roller move back and forth.

I had to calibrate my graphtec for Flexi contour cutting. Go ahead and get the actual Pen and calibrate and test. --I am betting its probably not the software, but the cutter itself. Here is the page that I received from Graphtec for ARMS adjustment and pen holder: ARMS OFFSET TEST PAGE.pdf -
Does it power up otherwise? Can you use the menu keys even though you cant see the display? Boy that looks alot like my creation P-cut cutter. Do you have a manual, or parts list? If you can cross a PN, UScutter was selling the LCD display here for 20 bucks: http://www.uscutter.com/Creation-LCD-Screen someone can correct me, but I doubt there are repair centers for that brand.

Graphtec CE6000-60 problems
Jburns replied to MadHatterGraphix's topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Discussion
When you say tap- do you mean that it goes just outside the design, taps, then starts cutting the design? Mine does that- Someone once said its like a CNC machine- if you look closely- it makes a tiny "J" and I think it orients the blade before it starts cutting.
