St Louis,
If a customer doesn't send the graphic we don't give him a quote. Problem is many of the customers think they know what they're doing. In all actuality they don't and always forget something or think they don't have to consider all the colors.
Never heard of clear Banner, but I don't know everything.
They make a clear, mesh / wire type banner I've seen locally but i have no idea what it's made of or where to get them at. Looks real cheesy and bad to me though.
Why not just buy a 4x8' blank and then charge accordingly for the colors if you can't outsource it

I print all my yard signs, Much easier and faster. No app tape, no weeding, just print, dry, apply
-
Shipping was 8.80.....
Either way your getting hosed on pricing. Sounds like they are retailing them to you then wholesaling.
I can get flatbed coro signs for way cheaper than that from a reputable company, I think it was like $9 double sided full color or something.

Waaaaaayy too busy. I had no idea where to look first as my eyes seen abuncha black.
Pick up some logo design books, I just ordered 2 by Dan Antonelli off Amazon and they were only $50 shipped for two to show you how to do correct sign layouts and logos.

Better to outsource to a "trade" only supplier.....Also, for coroplast I always get them printed on a flat bed printer for a better result.....Sorry the bubbles when you try and laminate makes for a poor quality product in my mind.....It is a selling point when competing against locals that do not have such equipment.......
If your laminating with bubbles, You need to learn how to laminate correctly. I laminate with a big squeegee and out of 20 prints i will MAYBE have a error in 1 of them. Took some learning but i can do it flawlessly now.
I really don't do many coro signs anymore, If i do it's always one or two. I get $20 single side and $30 double side (well i try). I print mine too anymore.

I'd advise you to keep the 60 blades. They are great when you dial them in right for reflective and small weeding. It's all i use for all my cutting

Dry Ersae vinyl?
IS vinyl not all made equal? I haven't tested it out yet, but is there anything special about this type of vinyl?
Dry erase vinyl is just that, vinyl you can dry erase. Regular vinyl will stain and the markings will not come off.
I just did a quick test with some 3m vinyl I had in my truck. No issue marking it up or off. For now... I have put a piece to the side and wait a few hours and see how well it comes off.
It's not going to stain it in a matter of minutes. Leave it on for a week and see how well it does. Use the right materials for the right uses and you won't have any issues.
Not all vinyl is made equal just like not all cars are and either are cutter brands.

R-Tape 4076
in Vinyl
Easy, 4076 is HIGHER TACK, The proper tape for the job would be 4075 or the medium tack rtape has. I use 4075 for wall vinyl and it works perfect.

How accurate are those little pieces though? The lime tree green doesn't look very lime to me...
What? lol It's the color samples from actual vinyl rolls....
-
I get $30 1 color and $40-60 2 color depending on the colors

Sounds just as fishy as someone using their board name as guest
pm me an offer, i dont know what die size it is, alot bigger than my normal grometts i use, so referance the coins in the pic.. thanks!
Fine, $5 then. Seems to be the highest bidder so far lol
-
This sounds fishy if you ask me, I mean grommets are so cheap why would you buy a whole new machine just because it came with grommets?
Post up some details such as price, die size, brand and of course photos.
-
i hope it works out for you. I honestly wouldn't spend 10's of thousands on a printer before seeing some money or contract up front. That's a big risk for possibly nothing like they promised.

Looks good.
For the correct material use Oracal 631 which is a regular cut vinyl and is made for walls only. It is matte finished so the light doesn't become a problem.
I have some oracal 3268 digital print vinyl if you ever need something full color printed and cut to shape. Just PM me.

Nothing more to pay, out the door, ships anywhere in the U.S. for the SAME price. I do a ton of other printing so check me out! www.facebook.com/TwistedPixels

Oh that was easy. I thought you were literally covering a whole globe with vinyl.
Good job!
-
im not worried about uv, i just wanna know if it turns color at all.
thought of going over everything to make it a smoother finish like paint clearcoat.
The vinyl will have air around the overlapped vinyl and look no different than before, maybe even worse.
-
Looks good, you blurred the number but it's easy to find if someone really wanted it. I just found it but i don't want it lol
-
ha! That's cool!
-
You need a good cast or wrap film for this. i would think that wrap film is your best bet though. Might be something more than what you want to get into really though.
-
Your referring to clear CUT VINYL not laminate.
I have no idea why they make clear cut vinyl, i really have no experience using it since it's not really needed IMO. Cut vinyl is UV resistant anyway so why cover it?
-
You can apply vinyl to a banner wet also, Alot say not too but i have and it works like a charm just in case you need that extra cushion

Is that laser just a level with a laser pretty much? How much are they and you can get them at walmart or home depot right?

They don't make a clear banner material. Tell him what you CAN DO for him, Don't lose the business because a customer who doesn't know any better wants something that's not out there
