  1. I'd be $120.00 printed and would do a 2.5' x 8' since my machine is only 30". I could outsource it if they absolutely needed a 3' tall one though. You really need to charge for the work at hand, i mean yes you have "scraps" but come on, charge for it because it's part of the job. That's more money in your pocket.
  2. Profile: http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php?action=profile;u=4775 Hey guys, Just wanted to give everyone a heads up with dealing with this member. I was contacted to make some facebook "like this." decals by jeremySI and i received the payment on August 17th and the order was completed and shipped on August 19th. His website is decaldude.net for anyone who didn't know. I have gotten on September 11th a PayPal dispute stating "havent received my items and it has been almost a month" This it totally bogus because i had went to his website and seen the decals i had completed and shipped to him up for sale with a photo of them that HE had taken. Notice the attatchments, the screen shot of his website is HIS photo and the other is MY photo which i had taken of the job before i packaged it up. I have sent all proof that i had came through with the order such as shipping receipt, pay pal payment, emails sent to him and screen shots of the completed order on HIS website he had posted as well as on his facebook. I am waiting to hear back after sending all that proof but i am 100% disgusted that someone would try to scam a great business such as mine. __________________ Just wanted to give everyone a heads up about this guy, I can't beleive there are creeps like this out there trying to screw people. Buyer Beware: jeremySI

JUST got the email 1 minute ago "DecalDude has closed this dispute. Thank you for working with your buyer to resolve their concern. We hope you found the PayPal dispute resolution process to be helpful as you worked toward an agreement. Any funds associated with this payment that may have been considered "Disputed" are now available for withdrawal. Thank you, PayPal" Thanks for your cooperation Jeremy, I had no idea your account was hacked. I have had a few customers file disputes against me and my business in the past (i've won all of them) so i was handling this as i would any other. Thanks again!

    Buyer Beware: jeremySI

I just logged into PayPal and the dispute is "Being Reviewed By PayPal" it says. We will see how this turns out but i have sent you 2 emails saying, one they have been shipped as well as one saying "Hey Jeremy! You should have received your decals by now. Let me know if there is anything else i can do for you." One on August 20th and another on August 24th. The PM i sent to you did not save in my Outbox as i didn't have that checked. I was not being ridiculous at all, If you give someone a great service and they want to claim otherwise, most would do the same as well. There was no need to send you a email after getting the dispute email from Paypal beings everything is handled through Paypal so i replied through that and awaited a response as i should have. I truly hope this gets resolved very soon. Thanks!

    Buyer Beware: jeremySI

Oh i'll keep EVERYONE posted. I cannot stand low lifes that scam people. It's good (bad still) to know that James has had a encounter with this guy too so i'm not looking like i'm making this up. He wanted 90 decals, then he pays me then says "hook me up with some extras and i will be back for a lot more" and says "Ohh yea and can you do a higher nice dpi. I need these to look as nice as possible so they sell and need to get more" Typical scammer talk if you ask me. If anyone gets emails from him i would advise you to report as spam and disregard! Known emails are jeremy0203@aol.com and chick4life0@aol.com
  6. The hand is in the file so it's the same thing lol There were 90 decals total on the facebook ones and only 10 of the popcorn ones.

    Buyer Beware: jeremySI

I don't think he can afford a printer, he would then have to learn to do things the correct way. I mean hes not even smart enough to pull a scam off lol

    Buyer Beware: jeremySI

Good luck John, he won't answer any PM's or emails from me at all.
  9. I don't give out my customer files, this was a job for someone who is reselling them. Thanks!

i dont know about you guys but why risk using some off the wall brands?

    printers that use metallic ink

Yep, it's such as cheap price for what you can do. I wish they had a add on system for the versacamms but i think the new printer has separate metallic ink heads or something.
  13. Yeah i was thinking more like $5 PSF but if they actually got all 3 at the same time i would do $4.50 PSF

    Prison Bars

i don't see why you can't create prison bars, they are lines that are vertical and then lines that are horizontal and spaced apart...nothing crazy
  15. Yeah Stouse has excellent products. I use them for my big bulk orders as it's cheaper for my and the customer all around since they specialize in big orders. http://stouse.com i think it is.
  16. who are you referring to as Stouse or Stickerman? No such members here on this forum that I could find. This person is new, send them in the right direction. Stouse is a company that wholesales to legit sign companies

matte white car wrap vinyl help

Looks pretty good, I've checked out alot of wraps from shops around here up close and have seen some imperfections as well. I'm sure glad i don't do wraps though, Just seems like a pain in the butt.
  18. My machine already auto does 2 cycles per day by itself. You can set up when you want this to happen. Mines a versacamm though so maybe that's why. There is really no reason to leave the printer off, just leave it on and it should go in a sleep mode.
  19. I have a customer wanting his dry fit shirts heat pressed with thermoflex numbers. Now his shirts are 100% polyester, will my heat press mess these up? Thanks!

matte white car wrap vinyl help

Wow, yeah this is going to be a sight to see. If you don't know how to prep a car for application, why even attempt this? I know learning is a process but geez. Did you get wrap vinyl and not just any matte vinyl? I hope you bought the correct material because normal matte material is not going to go over crazy curves at all.
  21. Sorry to sound odd but did you install 2 stripes over top of each other for the X?
  22. I use static cling on my personal phones but wouldn't sell them. They are hard to apply and stretch easily. I would forget about it to be honest, too much time and money into something that may not even go over good enough to cover your time

matte white car wrap vinyl help

hexis and oracal has matte wrap vinyls. Make sure you get something that's matte and requires no laminate. If you get white wrap vinyl that's gloss, you will have to laminate it with a cast matte lam. To much of a pain if you ask me.
  24. i apply reflective with rapid tac 1 and ZERO issues and the jobs going on 3 years. I see it every month when i go to the place of business for other jobs. Used Avery brand too.
  25. time and materials if all you need for pricing...
