2nd Attempt. Etched Vinyl Project (WITH PICTURE!)
vrpro replied to xpaperman's topic in Show your work
Nice work. -
Well It's been about a year that I've last posted due to a stroke. I sure miss sharing information with everyone. I hope to become an active member again and look forward to once again being part of this forum. Going through the Show Your Work, I'm so impressed with the users creativity. I use 2 Pcut 630's that are 3 years old now. They both are still running strong with no problems. Here are some pic's of my latest work I would like to share.

Nice work glad to see you are getting into it.

I'm not sure if you meant me or not. All my cutters are Pcut630's 24" I've not had a job arise that I couldnt handle with them yet. My vinyl printer is a 36" however.

Nice work. What font did you use? Thanks in advance

Pcut 630's 24" First one was a Demo unit. It has been the workhorse of the 3. The 2nd one was a new in the box P630 and It had a few issues lol. I was wondering with all I read prior to buying mine if it would hold up but at the time the budget wouldnt allow for a higher in machine. Over 3 years later my Pcuts are running great with no signs of giving up the ghost yet! I run them 6 days a week 2 times a month I run 1200 4" x 18" decals for a trailer company. Its a weekend thing with 4 to 6 weeders to keep up with the cutters LOL. Anyway, I cant say enough about my Pcuts! Nuff said we run 2 shifts on those weekends. Monster and Pizza . -
Nice work. How many cars were in your contract and what did you wind up charging per unit?
-
Just as you thought. You will need to have the windshield and view out printed. Now, if you are going that far rather than cut vinyl for the dash components I would think about asking him what vehicle he likes the best and see if you could just use printed for all. Just a thought.

Ive been using 2 Pcuts for 4 years now by no means light usage, an average day there running 4 to 6 hours constant and never had a problem. They are a work horse for the price. -
This is where I get mine. Hope it helps. http://www.bbdzign.com/bulk-wholesale-keychains-magnets-coasters-s/308.htm?gclid=CIb13M3Ns68CFQTrKgodigH4hg

We will see LOL. Last one I did for them I was in control of the art. This job I may have to nest alot. Here are 2 28' box trucks I did for them in the past.Everything I do is cut vinyl at this point. I may soon start printing and doing wraps, looking for a large format vinyl printer.
