yeah it comes with that greenstar vinyl everyone says to stay away from..and to stay away from bundles and starter kits.... i would rather spend $300 on the good Oracal 651 vinyl.....

THANK YOU Jessehop I was going to buy a value cutter from USCutter, i was looking at the SC series and LPII series... for almost 2 weeks i was going back and forth on what to buy with a limited starting budget...... i have no complaints against USCutter, i will probably continue to buy all my vinyl and other supplies from them! It's not my fault this other place had the same model graphtec for $500 cheaper than what they had.... does USC do price comparison-matching, like Wal-Mart?? if so, if they would have matched that price.. i would have bought it from them... But please... don't try to make me feel like the un-welcomed new guy here like i did something really bad.... and like i clearly pointed out in post #115, this USCutter forum...has a section and title that clearly signals that they are ok if you bought a cutter from a competitor...and they are still willing to help!

Oh hey..i hate to prove you wrong...and get on your bad side... but there is actually a section on this forum... that is dedicated to helping out with what u just said was wrong. Competitor Cutter Help So you bought from someone else? We will still try and help.

Sorry... gosh...im new here.... and i just bought a crap load of supplies from USCutter..... and yes they do sell the graphtec ce5000, and i bought it elsewhere... it was like $500 cheaper on clearance....sorry if that makes me a bad guy

wow thats alot man!! ---- I want to THANK everyone here for assisting me and giving me advice...helping me make a smart (expensive), but smart, purchase..... I am currently going thru the Graphic sharing threads, and collecting stuff..... once i get a good collection...and start adding my own creations (which i will gladly share!) i hope i can repay all the help and generosity u guys have given me... If anyone has any more links on where to get free stuff....or cheap stuff.... please send them my way! Also i am sure once my cutter arrives... i will need help getting it set up... for some reason... the shipping calculator thing would give me all the options for different shipping methods, and the $9 basic shipping was there....but when i went to my checkout....that option wasnt there! Then once i figured out that i had to remove a business name and PO box from my address... the $9 shipping option showed up. Now with an order of like $300 i tried first using my debit card, and it was declined... then tried using paypal... it wouldnt process...wtf.. so i removed all the vinyl rolls off the kart and just kept the tools, a $75 order... it went thru on my card just fine! Then i went back an added all the rolls of vinyl again, about $225 worth... tried my card again...it was declined again! I dont have a spending limit on the card, and there is like $4K in my account... so why a small $225 purchase isnt going thru, i dont know! anyway i selected the option to call with payment...and will call them monday morning.

Hey guys and gals. I'm new here and to the vinyl cutting scene. I was born and raised in Texarkana, Texas/Arkansas. My parents moved our family up to the Fergus Falls, Minnesota area when i was about 15yrs old (1998). Ive always loved computers and art..stuff came natural. Moved out for college and went to Alexandria Tech College and got an AADS degee in computer science, certified web developer/designer/programmer and database development/management. Started doing freelance work, the economy took a nose dive, had several part time jobs but couldnt get a job in my career field unless ioved further away and didnt have money or resources to do that. Im also skilled at fixing stuff, wrenching and working on stuff. Got a job as a service tech and assembler for an automation packaging company known as Massman Automation Designs. Been there for almost 5 yrs, good pay and benefits and only 4 blocks from my litle house...so alot of times i ride my atv to work lol. Anyway i build and work on machines that package stuff..like kelloggs ceral, poptarts, eggo waffles, eggs, butter and cheese, soap, garnola bars..and more... That pays the bills and puts food on the table and provides medical/health benefits. In my spare time i still do websites and fix computers for extra cash. Recently ive been designing graphics and selling vinyl stuff, having a local shop cut stuff for me, and i resale online or to friends. The shop i have been going to is over run and is too busy with big car wraps, race cars, etc. There are actually like 5 shops around town and they are all busy. So i said screw it and decided to cut out the middle man and invest in my own cutter. And eventually a heat press to do shirts. Anyway i just ordered a Graphtec ce5000-60, yep i went in deep. (Wait that sounded perverted!) Anyway i have lots of potential customers, from my motorcycle bike chapter, my atv and dirtbike bud, local resort owners, and online forums that i am in. I got married back in September, yep im a newly wed, my wife works at a daycare/preschool. We decided to go into this investment, hopefully make some money and have some fun. Im working on my facebook page and going to be redoing my website soon. Hopefully my cutter and supplies will be here by friday...and i can start cuttinf and making stuff for my booth at my chapter big bike show in April! Thanks guys n gals!

so no starter kits...but what about bundles of vinyl rolls?? Or do u buy them individually? i just dont see anything much on uscutters site or am i overlooking it?

Nice... i may have to get me one of those routers! The smartphone app sounds awesome...im into stuff like that. I have a home security system set up with cameras and i can access them thru my phone wherever i am at and check on stuff at my house...(i have atvs and motorcycles i gotta keep my eyes on, lol)
