Waiting on a response from Scott but don't know if he does clear vinyl prints and that is what my buddy wants. Does anyone else do clear of Scott doesn't ?
-
Scott I sent my friend an email with our convo so I will let you know as soon as he responds to me. I am thinking he wants what you go to bar and see on the pint glasses but those are like screen printed right?

If the Swansboro part will make it too much a pain in ass we can leave that off. I basically want it printed and cut out around black.

Hell I told her about lower price lol. I knew she had a budget so I was trying to save her some money. I actually tol her i'd do them for $15 a sign but she gave me the $80. Plus I charged no design fees or anything.
-
Thanks, I think I lost money on them if I take into account my time, lol. She paid me $80 for 4 double sided signs. I knew she could get them printed cheaper at UPS store but she said she'd rather help me out since I am new to the game.

Did you layer that? I assumed you printed to start with.

Does anyone know the blade offset for SIgn Cut Pro? I use both SCAL and Sign Cut but for all my older stuff i use Sign Cut as not to have to redesign. I have had same problem with Signcut also.

THanks Guys and gals. I really appreciate this.

I sell some stuff on ETSY and had a customer complain because I didnt send any instructions to install said decal. Doews anyone have a good short explanation I could use?
I figured some of you do this already and would hopefully share, lol. I know I can probably type one up but don't know best way to word for people that already dont know how to do it. I didnt think it was rocket science lol.

In Overcut area it has a default value of 0.0787 and that was default I assume as I have never changed it.

i weed mine immediately. I just didnt know if cut pressure would hurt or help. The color and stuff doesnt bother me, its the fact that the weeded part seems like it sticks to the part I want to stay on back causing it to peel parts of my decals up and sometimes off and ruing the decal.

Hey I am just wanting to get everyones opinion or ideas here.
I mainly use Oracal vinyl and I have noticed that even with bigger or smaller decals when i weed the vinyl sometimes more than not it kind of sticks to itslef at cut lines so I have to use my weeding tool or my knife to go in between the cut and put back down on backer sometimes. I don't know if its the adhesive or if its static or what. And no matter which direction i peel or amount/speed it still happens. I am using new blades and I am getting no cuts in backer so I think i have the depth and pressure right but just want to know i am only one with this problem. I notice on videos people weed alot faster than I. I am getting a good cut so i dont think it is the vinyl not completely sliced that is causing.

Ok I tried the plug in for scal and i opened inkscape up and typed text then exported to SCAL and it didnt show up. Only thing I didnt do was change it to path which I am trying right now.On another topic of SCAL vs. Sign Cut
----In Sign Cut if you have a svg loaded you can change size after every cut if you wish to make a larger one or smaller one vica versus, but I cant figure out how to do that in SCAL.
And to help others you do have to convert object to path as it worked when I did that.

Thanks I am trying all of these tricks. I guess like anything SCAL is gonna take some time to get used to to like it. That is why I just bought another year sub to Sign Cut just in case lol.
-
Can you do this and how? I have both cutters loaded on computer. One i used soley with Sign Cut and the new one was set up with SCAL. I don't like SCAL so much right now but want to be able to use both cutters on Sign Cut also in case I have to cut an old job I used with SignCut.
-
I didnt export anything though. I created image in Inkscape and saved as SVG. Opened SVG and then the problem occured.

Ok I am switching over from Sign Cut Pro to SCAL and I am having issues with multi-color SVGs I have created. In Sign Cut Pro it opens with my 2 colors and I can cut each seperately when choosing to. But when I imported to SCAL parts of the multicolor are missing. I will attach the SVG to show what I am talking about. In SCAL the by Kencraft part in yellow is missing. Then in another svg the yellow part is all together missing which will be boat registration numbers.

I am assuming that is all on the SCAL disk? Thats the only disc I got with it.

Thanks I swear I looked all over the site and I just remember I have this bookmarked from my MH Cutter I bought last year.
I need this logo printed/cut
