I have a design that was create in Adobe Illustrator. One line of text I warpped. When I send the document to the cutter that text that is warped in Illustrator is straight when sent to cut master. Any suggestions on how make the warp so it doesn't get effected when being sent to the plotter? Brad

I did this truck for a co-worker. First time I have stacked 3 colors. Did the stacking on my homemade light table with help from my wife.

I never thought about the dealership's sticker. Figured he paid me to put his logo and info on the truck. Not strip other items off.

Hi Everyone, I am trying to take text that I have warped in CS6 and cut it with my Graphtec plotter. Whenever I send it to cutting master the preview shows the test on a straight line and not warped. Can some please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Slice I appreciate you starting the thread. One of the biggest issues I am having currently is quoting jobs. -

You guys are giving me hope. I helped out a friends shop on and off till he closed the doors this year. I decided I still wanted to do my own stuff so got my Graphtec. Things are slowly picking up. Hopefully some day I can take the leap of faith and walk away from working for some else and go out on my own. Thanks to all who come on here and share advice with us newbies. Brad -
I have a roll of black 651. It isn't cutting or weeding easily. Plus when I do try to weed it. The vinyl is stiff and sounds like aluminum foil as you take it up. I am not sure how old the roll as it was given to me. Is this a sign that it is to old to use? Thanks Brad
-
Thanks for the responses guys. I am leaning towards the roll being bad. I tried re-cutting with higher blade pressure and the results weren't much different. So I am going to pitch the roll. At least it didn't cost me anything other than time and a little frustration. And a lesson learned. Brad

Wouldn't be hard to take into photoshop or illustrator and make a path to copy it. Brad

I am in the process of working on a quote for lettering a box van. I am curious how much people mark up materials. I don't want to see myself short. Thanks Brad
