Your Phone number ./ Orange peel remvr
jimwww posted a topic in Criticism and Complaints about USCutter
1. The 888 number does not work from Vancouver Canada - Why don't you list your regular ph numb on your website? 2. I just got the vinyl and stuff - just great - but the Orange Peel has leaked and smells.. at least it was wrapped in bubble wrap so it did not ruin the vinyl. Find better containers - Now I have to get another container and transfer the liquid. Very Poor. I would never order the orange peel from US Cutter again. 3. Their 'all driver edition' flexicut 10 does not include mac and should be labelled PC edition (click here for mac). Now I have to mail this back and they have to mail me the MAC 8.5 edition. (very poor first sales experience) jimwww Vancouver, BC -
Well US Cutter should NOT be advertising the one I ordered ALL DRIVER EDITION. Implying it works with everything. I will send this back today and get them to send me the proper one.

Well I got my "All Driver Edition" Flexicut 10 today and NOTHING on it or in it shows how to install it on my mac. Looks like it is for PC. This is ridiculous. So.... how do I install it on my Leopard Quad G5?
-
I checked with Graphtec and the Flex software already has the driver. So all I need is the Software and the Keyspan and I am set. Plus some supplies from US cutter. Thanks for all your help.
-
So I don't need a 'driver" for the graphtec? The other two drivers will work and make my cutter work.. is that right?
-
Yes I will get my Flexistarter 8 and keyspan from them. I am curious - do I need a 'driver' as well to install on my mac?
-
Excellent - thanks for letting me know. I saw that my 2100 has a serial plugin as well so I guess getting a keyspan to usb adapter (serial) is the way to go.

Hi Christi.. I just spoke to Carl at US Cutter and I am going to get a MH 24" cutter. I intend to make a profit with it - enough to buy the 48" Copam.. then I will have both.
-
Hi all - thought I would introduce myself. I am a webmaster up here and have a few clients that would like to get more from me than just my websites so I plan on driving to US cutter next week and buying one - and a heat press eventually. I just want to do simple graphics on signs and windows in the beginning - then on t shirts.. business will be slow at first as I learn as well.. so I am not sure which one to buy. (I am not new to graphics or software.. but new to a cutter). THinking of 25inch MH-721 or CP-2500 (not sure which) I don't think either have optical.

I too have been thinking about the Copam 2500 over the MH-721 - not sure still.. but I am going to buy one of them next week. ANy insights on pro's over each one of them would help. One guy on the tshirt forum says to get something that 'contours and has optical'. So I am really not sure yet. He has a MH-721 using Flexi Pro and he can contour with his MH-721 with that software. (theflowerboxx). It sounds like that could be the printer for me..
