As you use a Mac I think your options are nill.
SB does not work on Mac.
And as I see you use CS3 then why change the way you work?

Did you followed the new bie manual?

Only on coated vinyl to keep the ink from bleeding and smearing.

I just own a Summa too D series but did not changed a blade yet.
Is this blade the original factory blade?
Does the offset is the same?

Or go to the SIGN BLAZER section and look for the guy who sells the advanced (no serial version) for 5$ or so.

I sold my Pcut.
Your correct when you choose a Creation Pcut the option is greyed out.

Does your cutter has any optical eye so it can read if there is any vinyl in the machine?

if the MH has a real Windows printer driver installed it should be possible.

That says enough.
Do not know if you contact the factory itselve if they give away the secret menu.
Worth to try.

I am out of options.
I will prepare as SC file for you to see what happens if you open that.
Paco
-
Toggle this button and see what happens.
It switch on off the color filling if they are there to see if objects overlap.
Paco
-
OK that is clear.
CS seems to have so different display settings as the CR versions.
Wonder if there is a secret menu as I assume at the factory they also do test for correct Y and X cuting.
What does your distibutor says about it?
Sorry I could not help you in this.

Plotters are stupid they do not talk back.
So no need for bidirectional communication.
Paco

make a picture of the control panel of the plotter.
if it is not the mode key it must have an other name or sign.

Hummmm,
With my knowledge on parallel ports you do not set serial settings like 9600,n,8,1 those are strictly serial settings.
Parallel ports are much quicker as they were the next step after serial ports.
So I do not understand why you set serial settings in Signgo as this too.
It should not make any difference.
Does the parallel port at the machine side have screw terminals or clips to attach the cable?
Sorry to ask I cant see the connection of the machine.
Only thing I can think off is that bi-directional setting in bios is conflicting.
Try to set it to normal.
If your machine have a USB port you might try to run it that way with the MH and SBE.
Just suggestion, do not shoot me. :-)

For Xy read the new bie manual.

If you export with launcher one red color square does it show as red in SC?
If you create your file (two offset squares in different colors and export (not save or save as) as .ai (version 7 or lower) file and import it by OPEN file in SC how does that whows up?
