Help with weld, intersect and/or trim

Take the outside round and then the next to it. Combine them (Alt+S then Alt+C) and give them a color. Perform this for all three open circles to be made. Then select all circles and choose weld (Alt+S then Alt+R then Alt+L). I run a dutch version of X4 so do not know the english steps in words. Worked attached. Try again yourselve to see what I mean. reworked.eps reworked.eps

  8. After some repeated questions here is a HOW TO to contourcut from Corel X4 with Signcut Pro. For X2 there are nice videos and the manuals. For the PRO version with the "advanced contour cut" and all needed settings there was nothing uptill now. Click on the link and use it to your benefit. http://www.jupacreations.com/downloads/How to contour cut correctly with SignCut Pro_Corel_X3_4_Illustrator_CS3.pdf There are 3 download samples one for X4, the older V11 version and a CS3 .ai file. If there are addtional questions let me know. Regards, Paco Raap

    Sign Cuts Cutting by Color?

Toggle this button and see what happens. It switch on off the color filling if they are there to see if objects overlap. Paco
  21. OK that is clear. CS seems to have so different display settings as the CR versions. Wonder if there is a secret menu as I assume at the factory they also do test for correct Y and X cuting. What does your distibutor says about it? Sorry I could not help you in this. Paco

SBE never sends anything to the computer

Plotters are stupid they do not talk back. So no need for bidirectional communication. Paco

SBE never sends anything to the computer

Hummmm, With my knowledge on parallel ports you do not set serial settings like 9600,n,8,1 those are strictly serial settings. Parallel ports are much quicker as they were the next step after serial ports. So I do not understand why you set serial settings in Signgo as this too. It should not make any difference. Does the parallel port at the machine side have screw terminals or clips to attach the cable? Sorry to ask I cant see the connection of the machine. Only thing I can think off is that bi-directional setting in bios is conflicting. Try to set it to normal. If your machine have a USB port you might try to run it that way with the MH and SBE. Just suggestion, do not shoot me. :-) Paco
