how would you figure pricing for a couple of shirts or for friends. Not a business venture so I don't have that down yet. Do you price per sq inch of htv or what?

Are you using calculations or sometimes just come up with a price in your head and see if they go for it ? I am all for that on some things but really don't know what things go for. I guess when i get a request i can look it up on the net to see what that stuff goes for.

well, thats the difference in me and you pros. I am doing it out of my house and NOT much at all. Just a hobby and someone for friends to run to if something is needed. Scrapbooking is my first love so this all started with my cricut machine and i upgraded from there so definitely not in competition with anyone. This forum is a great place to get help and suggestions. Love it here. Sure hated it the couple of days it was down. That is the day i got a request to do a drum head and didn't know where to start.

we are talking inches-correct/ geesh egobuster- I need to know how you get your calculations. According to yours mine are WAY off. going by the vinyl calculators posted on here and one online I checked I got between $400-500.Please tell me how you figure your prices so I can stop losing money. Anyone else got input before I price anything else of my own? Thanks Egobuster1 for the tips on considerations.

thanks for the input. well noted. one last question- one seems everyone wants to get right. Pricing. the Z is approx- 11x11 and the other will be approx. 6 x 19. Using the calculators i found on here and one online I am coming out at about $50 for all 4 cuts ( 2 each ) . Any thoughts before i price him.

He wants black- i have Oracal 641,651 or should it be anything else as far as mil goes. Here are my graphic. He sent me the jpegs and I converted and cut a sample for him. The crown is for his drum head and the other for whatever.

there is a font that contains a swoosh like that - Brannonball- I believe is it.

it has been mentioned to check the temp of the press. I did read about strips above. Where do you get these? Since I don't have a Stahls I am sure they won't provide mine as above. How else would I check. ? thanks.
