Thanks Wildgoose, that is the only way i knew how also. I was wondering if there was another way. If i am not mistaken, SignCut came with the cutter also when i got it. Will have to check on that when i get home. Does signcut have a knife tool to do it the other way? I guess i will ask for those directions when i see if i have the program.

etched these today. Got an order of 12. I have done some work for this lady before in the vinyl cutting boards and she wanted to know if i could use her logo to make these. got one done, now she wants 12. also wants shot glasses. wondering about that size tho. would be tough i think. I bought the glasses for $1 and have really underpriced myself but since she has bought from me before i went low ($7 each ) on purpose. She remarks a lot on my FB so that helps get the word out. I am not good at pricing because i am such a cheapy i figure people don't like to pay lots for stuff. I did tell her that was HER price so not to quote it to others.

this is such a great site. Thanks guys for the links. Couldn't ask for better info.

thanks Joker !! smendlik- i will have to look but i think 120

well good, that means i can make ours look good. i redid some Jayco letters for our popup and waiting for the rest to peel so i can do it.

carwash, also something you may already do but here it is anyway- unroll some from the roll so that the cutter is not having to "pull" to bring it into position. So it has slack in it. Does that make sense. Learned that from this board.

oh lord, now you told our age. i laughed at this one cuz i knew what it was.

yep, my SC cut the logo for the Pilsner etched glasses( which was on another thread) for a 2.5 inch shot glass. I could not get the roman #'s to be good but the rest was good. SSOO small, i don't really want to do those.

also wiping down the wall before applying. Those suckers get dusty.

yea, i have done wet on glass and it is awesome the difference it makes.

yep, already had the mower out and ready to till the garden also. BUT, it will prob get cold again so not stressing over it. As far as boat #'s go. For some reason i thought they had to be a standard #. If not, i will redo ours this yr. Yours looks so much better than regular bought ones.

Dawn, if you do, if you are like me you will want it as fuss free as possible. I got the air eraser to begin with but hated having to refill all the time. Had it about 5 months and my husband bought me a blast cabinet from Tractor Supply. Could have saved myself time and money going that route to begin with.

looking for a rhinestone pricing calculator like the vinyl one we had posted here before. Anyone got this. To be able to figure cost to make. Free would be great also. OK OK, so i am cheap- whatever !!

finally did my scarf. I used AB stones but the coloring doesn't show up. It turned out pretty the way they change color when moving.

couldn't remember if I posted this or not. First big rhinestone project. With the right supplies -sticky flock- it was easier than I thought. I had done a small one before but was so hard using the economical template material. this is for my best friends birthday. She is a blingy person- I am not .
-
well guessing it is I suppose. thanks for the input. P.S. I posted on another site that does all rhinestones about wanting this and mentioned about having the vinyl calculator. One of the crafters is going to take the vinyl calcu and try to incorporate stones into it. I will let you guys know if anything comes of it.

did you use any tools to buff the 'rub-n-buff' ? -
how do you figure pricing on your etching, if you don't mind telling. ? I have been asked to etch some wine glasses and don't know where to start on price
-
wow, nice. I need to read up on this. not knowing how you did this. I am assuming you made your own mirror ? hhmm learn something new everyday.

so cut SeeJay. I wanted to do me a scarf also but haven't decided on a design yet. I did download a free one the other day but it had 3 stone sizes ( I didn't notice that before cutting ) and don't have many stones muchless diff sizes.
