MadHatterGraphix replied to IamCarteBlanche's topic in Introductions
Welcome, and like to say listen to these great forum members they are knowledgable, and very helpful. -
Have you tried making two separate files and just using the outline in one? I'm curious myself just getting into it.

First time asking for a favor. I'm looking for a decent retro style outside view of a diner for cutting and other such as license plates. Does anyone have one? Thank you in advance.

I have tried SCAL3 and so far liked it, but I know you cant cut anything without getting the trial water mark. And as far as I can tell the only difference is SCALP is the length of the projects you can cut. Am I wrong about that or are there better features on SCALP?

United States Post Office Can you lose any more Packages !!
MadHatterGraphix replied to mr300s's topic in General discussion
The loose and mis send items all the time, I have hada couple of my personal packages I was expecting were rerouted for no reason to another state. They must hire some low intellagent people sometimes. They expect us to pay more and they do less. I also believe there regular mail deliveriesbeing cancelled on saturdays are going to affect them worse than they know. -
Lol love it you two are great .

Are you using USB or serial? You may have to buy a key span. -

When I use to make Model Railroad decals back in the day wow I make myself sound sooo old anyway I wrote Coca-Cola about producing water slide decals for the hobby and they gave me written permission for free. Then again I basically only drink their products.

Hasn't anyone tried to build one? I would use (2) 6 or 12 inch lazy Susan's, cut 2 circles the size you need to accommodate how many tapes you have. (4) either thick dowling, and or thick walled PVC pipe. And a wood frame underneath. Nothing to hard or to expensive to build. I mean its nice but dang it's a lot of money for nothing.

I don't see why heat transfer vinyl wouldn't work. There's also heat transfer paper, and sublimation process just to name a few other options.

My First two color (practice) And other License Plate
MadHatterGraphix posted a topic in Show your work
I figured since everyone needs to practice I decided to make some License plates. I did the stinray corvette one Wednesday night, and the Irish two color today (thursday) I value comments for all of you. Also just so everyone knows I planned on the corvette one for the lettering to go crooked I dont like 100% straight effects. -

Well they aren't right. Unfortunately I can't redo this my tape won't stick to the vinyl, and its the end of the roll I have no more. -

I know about the wet application just don't understand what people use I know USCUTTER sells the fluid and some use water and soap solution. Which one is better and if the soap and water mixture works what is the ratio. -
smendlik sometimes it happens I can honestly say with just starting out with the none textile vinyl I learned the hard way about weeding. Had to recut some of my work. It gets easier once you get use to it.

REALLY struggling with pricing
MadHatterGraphix replied to tasly's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
Coaster36 is right all the way around, I know a little bit about pricing with helping my mother with her tshirt business. She works out of the house and does some side jobs for friends however she makes the deal where they buy her a full roll and for doing the artwork and cutting my mom keeps the roll as payment/
