Any idea which one? A or B?

Alright well i've had my plotter for a few years. Has worked great. When I first got it I had lots of problems with static, So I had to move the plotter off of carpet and onto tile for its life span. Unfortunately I still ran into static problems off an on as the vinyl rolls themselves especially siser. Well needless to say the cutter has all but completely stopped working. I have a video showing what its doing. It's weird because i have let it sit for about a month and randomly tried it again and it works and will work for a while (week) and then just start acting the same. The plotter isnt even plugged into the computer either. My question is, is this a problem that can be fixed with a replacement mainboard or am i looking at a new plotter?

I have a Sunie press15x15. I use Siser EasyWeed. Both the Blue and brown/Black shirt is an "Alternative Vintage Soft". They are a very nice soft 100% cotton form fit shirt. Wife loves them. I beleive the shirts were from here http://jiffyshirts.com/women/shortsleeve/alternative/AA393/?idcust=583411509 Funny thing is I actually only have one torso. Its a male torso thats quite slim. So for female shirts we bought a nicely padded bra to place on it. LOL Boy does it look weird with no closes on because the torso is all ripped for a guy. LOL But it works

I'll have to check when i Get home. Yes distressed fonts look so much better but i know what you mean about weeding. I figured these were gonna be One-Offs so i wanst too worried about a bit of weeding. Although I tend to edit them and get rid of stuff thats too small. Thanks! Well here is a photo and a video. Well i've had a few friends and friends or friends ask me to make them some shirts. So here are a few of them. 1) A two color Bengal shirt. 2) Simple but a cool font. 3) They wanted a number also but i didnt trust pressing on that big of holes. They said it seems to be holding up alright despite the little holes.

When applying the heat transfer vinyl to the Jersey, what i did was lay some old (regular)vinyl backing(the wax paper part) under it and the press vinyl never stuck to it. It worked great!

Its been a few months since i finished it but just never got around to posting a few photos. Here are some during construction of it. Here are the final images. LOL Dont worry its much messy now that its seen a bit of work. LOL Unfortunately the biggest disappointment about the whole thing is that the carpet has too much static and i actually cant have the plotter in there. I couldn't get it going without freaking out from static. So yeah... LOL

Well everything was a fairly low budget. I got all the slat board for free along with really cheap brackets and shelves from a scrap place. The cabinets were old ones a buddy pulled out when he remodeled his kitchen. The only things I paid for were the countertops and two colors of paint. Cream for the walls and brown for the cabinets and slat board.

Its hard to say. These decals are sold at a wholesale price to a friend of mine who owns a travel center. I sell them to him at a steal of a price $.60ea. He then in turn sells them for $2.98. I make sure they are all extremely easy to weed and all the packaging is made in house at a low price. They cost me about $.23ea. to make. It does take a bit of my time putting them all together but that's just this customer. Other customers I sell them for about $1.00 ea. Like i said its at a wholesale price, so there is a minimum order of about 30 or so. Works for me. Yeah I dont make a ton of money. But its getting my name out there for larger projects and the customer im working with owns 4 other travel plazas and hotel resorts. When I do individual stuff at a retail price i would charge at least $3-5 each. for this size which is 5"x5". A lot of it depends on what kind of waste i have also.

Well previously i posted about an issue with customers not buying packaged white decals from one of my store owners. I think it was because the backing on the white vinyl in blue and they think thats part of the sticker. So I decided along with a few suggestions from other forum members to make a small display. Here is it. The actual display is all hand cut and put together. Then i just placed some decals on it as examples. BTW i know most people around here don't like the work "sticker" but i think to the common person its more understandable than "Decal". The main part and stand are made from a black foam board. Then i placed some silver "poster board" type paper on the front. The colors REALLY pop off of it! Just though i might post it as it may give other ideas for their own projects.

Mine just happens to be in my signature. lol Its alright but hard to make a small decal of it when need be.

Thanks everyone! Yeah I thought about redoing the whole floor in a nice tile but didn't have the funding at the time. When i planned on doing this i wanted all the walls to have several slat board areas because i want to be able to move things at any given moment. It makes things very versitle.

Alright well a few months back i set up my first contract with a local Travel Plaza in town. I am providing them with packaged decals ready for customers to apply. Here are a few of the design packaged up. Everything is great! Well except one thing. When the Owner of the travel plaza placed his order he ordered all black decals. I told him this probably wasn't a good idea, because a majority of all "vehicle decals" are white. Most people place them on their windows and not their paint. So needless to say we changed the order to mainly white and few black or colored. To my amazement they have sold over half of them in just about two months. But wait! Only "White" decals are left. I think its because the Oracal 651 wax backing is blue and it causes the customers to think that the blue is part of the decal. So here i told the owner to buy all these white ones and that's all he's left with. Im guessing its because of the customers ignorance of how the decal is transferred and that its only the white part not the blue backing. So what should I do? Is there an alternative to the blue backing? Perhaps a clear? Perhaps by creating a small display with sample decals would help represent them?

Does anyone know which Oracal color would be closest to the Dark Blue BGS vinyl? I bought some BGS a long while back and a lady really liked the color. well i ran out and would prefer to buy the Oracal instead.

Looks great! Im actually working on getting my 2SS soon. If i had one suggestion is i would try to vector the HID angel lamps that come on the RS package its a trademark for the new Camaro.

Ok here is the deal. I have been pressing some shirt for my self and they have been coming out great! So I did a small order of about 10 shirts for someone. I have washed my personal shirts about 10 times I would say. The two that i wear the most often are having problems. They are pealing. Pretty bad. Im using Siser Easyweed. I have follow the heat and time instructions included with it and I make sure i pre press before apply it to get moister out. So whats the deal? Are they going to fall apart like this or am i not doing something right. I have to admit that I have not been turning them inside out before washing and i have washed them with jeans. But I cant prevent customers from doing this.

I only been doing 302 for about 13 seconds. I have some gilden and some AAA shirts Hmmm.. that could be that i stretched them possibly.

Would it have to do with shrinking? I've noticed that one of them seem to be like wrinkly vinyl. Should I wash first? I have a Sunie press. What are good heat settings for Siser EasyWeed.
