Did you use plastic transfer tape? I hate plastic tape. I just did 6 24in x 18in coroplast signs and decided to use up some plastic tape I had laying around. I had wrinkles galore. Paper tape all the way now.

Have you tried the convert to bitmap option?

The 751 is a cast vinyl and conforms to more complex curves. It also doesn't shrink as much as a calendered vinyl.

I think your cost is wrong on your application tape. It should be 12 cents per square foot not 1 cent.

I did some decals for a friend using 651 and they fell off after a couple of days even after a good surface cleaning. I read somewhere that running a blow torch over the plastic could help so we tried that. It seemed to help but I'm not sure how long they will last because he smashed it to pieces a week or so later during a race. Haha. I'm interested in others experience, tips and tricks.

I've been cutting for 2 years or more and just this past week I decided to try my luck on eBay. That's why your sales are down. Not because I'm getting your sales but because my luck is so bad that it's contagious. Lol

I have the 24 inch BS. The moment I opened the package and held it in my hands I wanted to kicked myself. It's a great tool but I could make it for a few dollars. I have a Weber single spool tape system that I bought new and it does a great job but it was expensive. I could easily make it for $25 or so. It's useful because it has an adjustable clutch so you can control the tension of the tape.

I make some printed stuff for myself and friends only. I have a Epson wp1100 with cobras pigment ink. It only prints 8.5x11 and I use waterproof labels that are designed for inkjet. I then laminate with oracal 651 transparent. I had some on the back window of my car for close to a year that looked like new. My wife decided to be nice and scrape my car off last winter so they didn't survive longer. I don't offer them for sale though because of what others have said about the aqueous layer possibly failing and potential fading.

My phone is not officially supported and Google play wouldn't even let me download it. I was able to download the apk file and install. It works perfectly fine except I have no option to use camera to capture cc information. I have not tried it but I read that if your device is rooted you can change the perceived make and model of your phone to a supported device. It involved editing the build.prop file so it could cause major problems if done incorrectly and possibly correctly. Try at your own risk. I'm going to try it so that I can get updates for the app.

How would you guys handle this? I only sell shirts and decals. If I have a complaint about a decal I normally ask for pictures of the damaged decal and intended surface. It's almost always a user error during installation and I offer a discounted product. It's rare that I have to do a full replacement.

Does anyone have the Flexi 8 drivers/csm files for Graphtec ce6000? I'm using the ce5000 drivers and they seem to work fine but I would like to get the most recent version if possible.

You are both correct. It's working fine now so I can't see spending so much to upgrade. I'm looking at SignCut in the future.

How well is your compressor working with the HF model? How do you feel about the HF cabinet and gun? I'm looking at the HF cabinet and this compressor. I would need to run a 240v line for that compressor. If I can get by with a smaller 120v compressor like this I would prefer to use that instead. Blasting sounds like a lot of fun and possible profit.

Will these Blade holders on Ebay work with the CE6000? The description says that it will but they are listed as CB09UA and the CE6000 comes with a CB09UB. I think the CB09UB has an internal spring while the CB09UA requires you provide your own spring. Has anyone used an ebay blade holder/blades? If so how was the quality or the holder and the blades. Do you have a ebay seller for them that you recommend? Thanks

I used the Siser EasyWeed settings 302ºF/150°C for 10-15 seconds (I did 15 seconds), medium pressure. I waited 24 hours before first wash. It seems to work fine. The test shirts I made look great even after ~8 Wash/Dry cycles.

I have 10 Yards of enduraTex Iron-On that I would like to use with my heat press. Has anyone tried using it with a press? What time, heat , and pressure did/would you use? Thanks.

I am talking about the EnduraTex Iron-On. It is normally applied using a clothing iron using the cotton setting for `1m 20s. I wanted to apply it with a heat press which will require different temp and time. I simply wanted to know if any members had success using it with a press and what settings they used. Thanks.

The EnduraTex Iron-On is 3.7 mil and Siser EasyWeed is 3.6 mil. The EasyWeed calls for 302ºF/150°C for 10-15 seconds, medium pressure. I think I will give this a try for the Iron-On. I'll test it out and post back in a few days.
