Install From hell !! sorry for the poor pics

    I think it looks great!
  2. I have a family member who wants twenty five 18 x 24 political signs printed or done in vinyl (whichever is cheaper) asap. They found 20 signs online for $140. Just to buy greenstar vinyl and application tape I am over $100. Plus coraplast and the sign stands. Because this is a family member, I was going to have them buy all the materials and give them to me. I don't really want to do the labor for free plus get stuck with the bill for materials. I haven't had time to really research what the going rate for printed signs are but, is $7 reasonable? I don't want them to get ripped off but, they are the ones who waited until two weeks before election to do this. I am kinda getting back into the swing of things. I have been off this forum for a long time!

    Customer wanting political signs

You guys are right. The most comical part is that this person is running unopposed. So I don't really get the urgency.

    Customer wanting political signs

That is exactly something I would do too.

    Customer wanting political signs

That makes me feel a lot better KYSIGN. I don't mind doing stuff free sometimes. I don't make my living from this but it would be better for both of us if they got them printed. I just wanted to know that I was being fair.

    Customer wanting political signs

I forgot to mention, they are two sided. I told them if I do them for efficiency, I am only doing one color because they want them yesterday.

Shout out to Ross from Clean Cut Blade!

Sorry! I was off for a looooong time. Yep, it is the pcut 30.
  9. Hi Everyone! I have not been active on this board for quite a long time due to my husband and I moving, getting my space set up and back into the swing of things. A lot of what I do is glass etching and sometimes is really small text or graphic. I did some research on here and saw a lot of people talking about http://www.cleancutblade.com/ so I figured I would try them out. I called and talked to Ross who was awesome and gave me all kinds of tips and told me to call him with any questions as I would now be changing my overcut, offset and pressure settings. I was so impressed with the customer service he provided. I ordered 2 Roland ZECU 60* blades. I got them really fast (I have had them a few weeks but have just now been able to try them out). I am sold! I cannot believe that not one piece of vinyl lifted. I cut all text at .518 tall using monotype corsiva, Oracal 641 and a PCUT 630. Even the dot on the eye stayed in place. I haven't ever had that happen! Thanks to everyone who was recommending them.

    Fun Stuff...flasks!!

Nice job! What kind of vinyl are you using?
  11. Boy it's been a long time since I have been on here! I work in an insurance agents office and my boss is looking for I think between 250 and 500 8" oval magnets to give out at antique car shows that include his information and a picture of an antique car. I just want to tell him what would be a fair price. I might do the artwork. These would be printed I am assuming. Thank you!! Sabrina
  12. It would be an exterior magnet and yes full color. Probably black text.
  13. Hmmm...I don't know. There is going to be an antique car with some business information on it. (Email/name/phone number)
  14. Just wondering. I have new niece on the way and I want to make her onesies in every size that say "Aunt Sabrina is my Favorite". I have two brothers and two sisters so this is gonna be pretty funny. Anyway I just got a new catalog from Sign Warehouse and this material caught my eye because it is pretty economical..........if it really works. I will be using a Rowenta Iron but, it worked for Siser so I figure it would work for something that claims it is thinner. Here is the link. Thanks everyone!! I tried vectorizing this but, the file is too big. If you give me your email I will send it to you.

    need I say more

I will second that. Service men and women choke me up just thinking about what they are giving up for all of us. What a huge commitment. Someone hung something up at my work about service men and women, I can't remember exactly what it said something like signing a check up to and including their life. That just really made me think.

    Can coozie picture

They turned out pretty good.......I think. I was really happy with the Siser from ThorsFoundry. It was very easy to work with.

    Can coozie picture

I got them off amazon http://www.amazon.com/Can-Koozies-Neoprene-CHOICE-COLORS/dp/B0027FJITU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1251934885&sr=8-2 That was the best price I found for the nice neoprene ones without buying 500. Hopefully someone on here has found a better deal because these where super easy and I would love to do more but, I bought a dozen and they ended up being around $30 with shipping and handling. Thanks for all the nice comments!!

    Can coozie picture

I don't have a heat press so I used my Rowenta iron on the wool/silk setting for about 5 seconds pulled the plastic off then went back over it with just parchment paper over it. It worked very well. The biggest thing was not moving the iron. Once I set it down I lifted straight off I didn't move the iron around.
