Hello All, I am doing a sign for opening times for my cousins hair dressing store.Can any one advise what is the best combination of weed settings for 20 mm lettering.I am looking to reduce weed time. Setting from SignBlazers are : Weed All Weed Each Copy Easy Weed Power Weed I have also just bought 30 , 45 and 60 deg cutting blades.I read that 30 degree is great for small fonts. Hello All, Hope you are all doing well considering the economic times ahead. Would like some assistance on the following file. For some reason i cannot get this file to open in Sign Blazers trial version software? I have opened a few EPS file's in the past with no problem....... Can anyone lend a hand to resolving my issue? Hello All, Appreciated your feed back and have now down loaded Signblazers and i have now spent the weekend ironing out the bugs and all seems to be working well.And yes it is very user friendly and i think i will stick with it until it cannot do what i want it to do which will be a long time from now.I have a few question's which i will ask on the signblazer forum....So flexistarter has now been put on the back burner.SIGNBLAZER it is. So if you compare flexi starter to sign blazer , yes sign blazer is a free program but has it got everything flexi starter 8 and has or has flexi starter got more options than sign blazer and is worth spending the money...... i guess i am use to the flexi platform and i would have to go and learn a new program,nut out the cutting issues and any other user problems.I guess i am un familar with signblazer platform.... Dylan whats your feeling on flexistarter 8?

Thankyou all for the feedback. I think i will give signblazer ago, at least i will try the trial version at no cost to my hip pocket. Does anyone know how long the trial version can be used for ?

Hello All, I am currently using a old version of flexi 7.5 with a Creations Kingcut Pro 630 which i got with my machine 6 months ago.It seem to be a condensed version limited functionality.I want software that allow mee to do most things ,i guess meaning basic sign cuts. Can someone advise me if i should invest in flexi starter or invest in signcut x2 ? The version of flexi i have has not sharp angle compensation or plotter compensation to further improve close out on cuts. This is a pain in the butt for weeding when you dont have these setting options.. Appreciate your help, Cheers, OZZIEIMAC

Thanks Guys for the speedy response.You guys are a great knowledge database ,pricless....... Having the vinyl on the inside of the glass faceing out would'nt it last longer ? And it would look nicer? Also can all Oracal 651 be stuck on window face forward? I noticed glue on one side of the vinly on the 651 i have at the moment ? Or is their another Oracal 651 that is designed for applying face out ? Oh i am from Melbourne Australia.Its summer right now ... Appreciate your feedback and my lack of knowledge... Cheers, PJ

Hello All, Hope everyone has had a great x-mas & a great start to 2009 ! As a newbie i need some advice ,my cousin is opening a new hairdressing salon and wants me to apply a vinyl sign to the shop front glass window. Can you advise me on the following : 1) What is the vinyl type you should use for applying vinyl from the inside of the glass to be seen from the outside? 2) Should this vinly sign be put on wet ? 3) What brand is better suited for these types of application . p.s THIS IS MY FIRST SHOP FRONT SIGN.......... Can anyone help with advising me if a software program is available of the following below : i have heaps & heaps of vector graphics and fonts and they are just stored in folders,i want a program to easily access and view them. 1) is there a program that stores your vector graphics in a library until you call them up? 2) the program should be able to view the graphic or font quickly tooo 3) allow you to store them in a catagory of some sort so you can find them quick Appreciate your advice. ozzieimac

Hello, All it came with was a driver for Kingcut Pro to work with this Flexi Version.Are you saying that there are better drivers available for this cutter and software ? What are your thoughts on my settings do believe they need to be changed ?
