  1. Also, a lot of people go to places like dreamstime.com or istockphoto and just purchase the pictures and then photoshop them. Do a search for 'living room' 'sofa' or 'walls' and you'll get lots of results. In fact, that's what everyone that I know does. They get beautiful pics, they're cheap to buy, and everyone's happy!

    Prayers needed

I'm so sorry about this tragedy John, and will definitely keep your family in my prayers and thoughts. There is so much power in prayer, and it will help to get you through. Keep strong and stay positive.
  3. That looks great! So I guess people are just using their regular printer inks then? And a clear coat/laminate afterwards?
  4. I've been looking into this myself, and I'm still unsure about what inks would be best to use. When I research UV inks for the Epsons, they all seem to be the inks that are used for sublimation, but that can't be right if they're not going to be pressed, and would be for decals/banner applications, would it? Does anyone have any info on what type of inks would be best? Thanks! Joy

Hey everybody - coming out of hiding!!

Thanks guys! These forums are addicting. I keep telling myself 'One more post and then get to work', but I just keep reading and not working!
  6. Hi everyone! I've been a long time lurker, but figured it was time to come out and say hello! I am about as inexperienced as it gets when it comes to cutting, but I've been reading posts all over this forum for the past few weeks, and it's just amazing to see the knowledge all of you guys have here and I'm just soaking it all up as much as I can. I'm originally from Buffalo now living in sunny Florida and absolutely love it. I just got myself a spanking new Laserpoint, and I'm cautiously trying to learn the ropes (this thing is scary!! ) so you'll probably see a lot of me in the future asking crazy questions. Looking forward to learning more from you guys. Take care! Joy
